Garbage time TD pass, and that's it. He's not a top 5 player, I've seen more now, and am even more convinced. I mean, I will say, that TD was a great toss. He's not a top end prospect, though. He was anemic all night until that point, though.

24 pressures
17 hits
13 knockdowns
7 sacks
Weird Sanders didn't play that well. Seems like it was an optimal night for success. Hopefully he figures it out next time.

UCLA has a very good defense, as well with some crazy number of points scored on them coming from INTs returned for TDs.
The traits are still there for Sanders but I'd expect him to return to school at this point rather than declare for the NFL draft.

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
He was substantially under siege all game. UCLA overwhelmed the O line all night. The only way you put that on Sanders is if you didn’t see anything more of the game than the box score.

Was at the buckeye badger game. Always a good time. With the way the badgers were playing Marvin, feel like he should have gone 20 for 250 and five tuddies. Ryan Day sucks so bad. Well. Part of it is McCord. But still...

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
Buckeye fan here who's watched every Treveyon Henderson snap in college (as well as how other RBs ran behind the same line/ in the same offense).
So fun to see him finally back at 100% and finally have a big game yesterday. I was a huge fan of his as a Freshman, but was nearly out on him after a mediocre 2022. After yesterday, I'm starting to wonder how much his injury was hampering him last year. I still don't know that he's the RB1 of the class as many had him, but he could get there with a strong (healthy) finish to 2023.
He reminds me of Jahmyr Gibbs in terms of speed and elusiveness, but with worse contact balance despite being 15 lbs heavier.

Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
- Henderson is talented enough to be RB1 in this class even with a so-so season. I also wouldn't be shocked if the NFL isn't super high on him right now and he returns to school to show what he can do over a full season.
- Braelon Allen I think will be up there, but so much depends on how the NFL values that type of back right now. He's the back I'm most interested to see combine numbers from.
- Devin Neal has quietly been impressive for Kansas.
- Need to see bigger games from Trey Benson, but the flashes are intriguing.
I know it's very "the next class is the best class" meme, but 2025 seems more promising for RBs with Nic Singleton, Quinshon Judkins, Trevor Etienne, and Ollie Gordon as potential big names, but we'll see how that plays out. Branson Robinson also someone interesting to keep an eye on depending on how he returns from injury.

Been high on Benson for a while now and almost hope he stays down a little bit so I can get him a bit later because I want to use first and early second on WR but I could see him rising fastLumps wrote: ↑Sat Oct 28, 2023 11:45 amWell, they’ll sleep on him until the combine. I suspect we will see a lot more interest in him post combine. He’s going to put up a really nice 40 and probably good jumps. He’s gonna weigh 210-220.
The contact balance is just unreal with his speed. Rarely takes a solid hit, unless it’s him delivering it.
Hopefully, the knee checks out with medicals. He’ll be far removed by then and does not show any signs of it bothering him.

Yeah, Henderson is greased lightning and looked like he was shot out of a cannon when a seam presented itself.oneson9192 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 10:20 am Buckeye fan here who's watched every Treveyon Henderson snap in college (as well as how other RBs ran behind the same line/ in the same offense).

I was pleased as a WIS fan how they played because that OSU D is dammed nasty. Redshirt frosh starting the game in place of the starter who broke his hand and with allen going down midgame they were down to their RB3 but still hung tough. If you liked big hitting defensive games it was great to watch.

T Henderson with another fantastic game against a very solid defense. Totally different back when healthy and clear RB1 for me. OSU's line isn't great and he's averaging almost 7 a carry while the rest of their RBs are lucky to reach 4.
Re: Somewhat early 2024 Draft thread
Fine. Henderson looked good.
Still not drafting him. Mostly because I won't pick until somewhere around 14 or 15th overall
Now if they could also get the passing game going we might have a #1 team

Ollie Gordon looks really good. He's been one of the best players in college football this season.
If you can sneak some 2025 1sts in your trades, you should do it. RB group looks really exciting with Singleton, Allen, Judkins, and Gordon as potential headliners.

Excited for Malik Nabers in primetime vs. Bama.
If Marvin Harrison wasn't so all-time, elite, I think we'd be talking about Nabers a lot more. He's looking like a very, very strong WR prospect who can do it all. He's my 1.02 in 1QB leagues right now.
