Re: Non-rookie sleepers (2023)
Haven’t seen Kyle Phillips yet so I’ll throw him out there. Expecting 650 yards out of him this year, so could be a BYE fill in guy for free.

Nico Collins = a young Julio Jones. I read it, therefore it's the truth.

Re: Non-rookie sleepers (2023)
I'd expect anywhere from 800 to 1200 (very unlikely) yards and 6-8 TDs.
I'm a Bryce Young believer and I see him as the only player on the roster that can play the X. His 2nd year isn't nearly as bad as people believe it was and he was only getting more and more efficient as the season went on. Started the year as one of the least efficient WRs in the NFL with 1.0 YPRR but averaged a very respectable 2 YPRR after Rhule was fired. His end of season YPRR of 1.84 was good for 39th in the NFL. The final 4 games of the season, his YPRR: 2.42, 1.71, 2.39, and 2.11.
So even before the OTA hype there were signs that he was a player on the rise.
I'd look at him as a sell high after this year, don't have a lot of faith in him going forward but the stars are aligning for a 2023 breakout
Re: Non-rookie sleepers (2023)
I am, and have been, an owner since he was drafted. There were reasons to be hopeful, then Carolina was a dumpster fire, then they traded DJ Moore, now Young is there, but then they drafted Mingo. Been lots of pros and cons. Still holding because, realistically, what the hell am I gonna get now? Don't expect anything at this point, really. However, if you were going to make another deal, can get him included as a flier, I'd suggest doing it. For the price there aren't a lot of other guys I'd put over him.Sriracha wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 12:15 pmI'd expect anywhere from 800 to 1200 (very unlikely) yards and 6-8 TDs.

Still, I expect nothing.
Re: Non-rookie sleepers (2023)
Mingo has a lot of upside as a Big Slot but if they try to force him in there as a traditional X receiver I'd expect him to be a bust.Lumps wrote: ↑Mon Jun 12, 2023 12:24 pm

Expecting nothing is probably for the best but I'm fairly optimistic he'll be a useable fantasy piece this season.
Re: Non-rookie sleepers (2023)
TLDR.
Maybe mentioned already - Jerome Ford. Current ADP is 172 (so that's deep). There's little on the depth chart behind him. CLE has been an RBBC for years.

Re: Non-rookie sleepers (2023)
How about Skyy Moore WR KCC. No establish WR ahead of him. He has the same shot as Kadarius Toney and Rachee Rice to develop in camp and become Mahomes #1 or #2 WR target

Re: Non-rookie sleepers (2023)
Yup still holding out to see what happens year 2. Could be any of them. Or it could be Kelce and none of them really matter
Re: Non-rookie sleepers (2023)
Depends on value. I’m not expecting much. But one should hold the same expectation for a late 2nd-3rd round player in a rookie draft. You almost have no other choice to hold if you have the room because his stock is incredibly low

Re: Non-rookie sleepers (2023)
I feel like everything has pretty much gone to plan with Skyy. Juju brought in while he makes the jump from the MAC. He assumes the starting role for year two. I think his ceiling isn’t super high, but I fully expect him to be a starter this year and have some fantasy value.

Expecting Kadarius Toney to be KC's Leading WR this year.
