Yes. I refuse to let a RB burn me by taking him at 1.1 if there's another player of similar or equal value. Taking Zeke at 1.1 is kind of a no brainer this year because it's such a weak class, but I'd gladly take Cooper over Zeke or Gurley. RB's drive me crazy. There's very few AP's out there. More times than not, you're going to end up drafting a guy who produces the same as another RB you can get for dirt cheap. RB's come and goCoogan23 wrote:So what does everybody think now? However, let it be known that I think both Gurley & Cooper are overvalued at this point.
Re: I am Todd Gurley
I'd take Gurley due to positional scarcity though it's evident both are valued fairly equally in aggregate. I'm of the opinion that Cooper is being overvalued due to youth and doesn't belong in the elite WR tier, and Gurley will not be as impressive in 2016 due to the poor overall offense in LA.

Fun to read through this revival and get some 2015 rookie draft flashbacks.
I took Gurley 1.01 in a few spots ahead of Cooper and right now I'm glad I did.
I take nothing away from Cooper, just a huge fan and long-term believer in the Gurley-Man.

Re: I am Todd Gurley
The thing that scares me about Gurley is that his ACL was on a non-contact injury. He planted and went down like a sack of potatoes.
I'm less scared when someone's knee gets hit wrong like AP or Gronk because it doesn't seem like there was anything particularly wrong with the joint to begin with, it took some outside factor to cause the knee injury. I'm not an orthopedic surgeon though, so what the hell do I know?

If you took Gurley at 1.01, you would still take Gurley at 1.01
If you took Cooper at 1.01, you would still take Cooper at 1.01
In my biased opinion, I would take Gurley over Cooper anywhere besides a total rebuild. I see Cooper as a low end WR1 - High end WR2, but I see Gurley as the undisputed #1 RB. High end WRs are almost a dime a dozen in todays game, elite RBs are increasingly hard to come by.
