Capping pre-registration at 200 just in case the sign up sheet flooded over. 50 people signed up on the first day so I had to make a limit.

Whoa there, slow down. Not quite, sir. I actually commissioned a 72-team league that was essentially six 12-team divisions. Each division had its own set of players, own set of teams, own set of trading partners, own drafts, own playoffs even.

Dynasty96 is NOT like that. A team could literally go from 1st place to 49th place in 1 week. You can trade with anyone and everyone. There are only 1 set of playoff brackets. You can trade for 1 of the 6 Tom Brady's in the league. Etc.... I should have chosen a more likeable NFL player to use as an example....

I will be inviting owners starting tomorrow.

I'm interested (in spite of uncalled for cheap shot at my boy Brady) and don't want to bust chops, but the preregistration says the league won't start until you get to 200 so it sounds like the league will not be formed until 200 sign up. If that's true it seems likely that a large portion of the people who register now (IE highly active and engaged owners who are scoping out their next dynasty team here in February) will be sol.

This sounds challenging and I want to sign up, but before I do I want to understand the criteria that will be used to decide registrant #199 gets in over registrant 94?

Sorry, the 200 was a cap because I got scared at the number of registrants on day 1. It turns out that someone filled their name in on the sheet 25 times. Just ignore that whole thing, I'll be inviting owners tomorrow.

It's all in the uhh.... rules there... but sure i got time.

1 large draft with 6 copies.

a draft this size would normally take 3 months long but with a "no trading" rule during the draft, it should take 1 month (research explained in the rules as well).

16 playoff teams but all teams with 8+ records will win money that exceeds the entry fee, up to $75 each. Top prize of $1,000. All players guaranteed to at least double their money.

1v1 schedule, but VPs are used with a league this size

no division, one giant pool.

That's funny, you're answer is in the topic. $1,000 for 1st, minimum. Could go higher to as much as $1,450.
