Rice is the 4th best pass catcher on his team now. A lot has changed for the young receiver. I have a hard time believing the Chiefs give him an extension, let alone build around him.

And the fact that Rice had such a great rookie season in a Reid Offence further bolsters him, imo. If/when Rice is on the field, he's the 2nd best option behind TK

There are certain organizations that weed out troublemakers more than others and I believe KC will take the high road and cut Rice. I guess anything is possible.

You already know Rice’s #4 on season stats, don’t know about PPG.

You may be handing Worthy his flowers, just as Flowers was worthy of last year.

You can also use the point about rookie success as a plus for Worthy’s potential outlook in the same offense.

I think since this new allegation just happened and the "assailant" name was redacted from the story, KC is doing their own internal validation before they make their decision.

Hate to break it to everyone but this organization didn’t cut hunt to do what’s right and to have 100% good people in the locker room, they did it because it was on video him hitting a female and there was a large public outcry. I don’t see this stirring up close to the same buzz to lead to a cut but I suppose we will see.

Ignoring any sort of moral codes, I'd be holding barring a pretty early 2nd in SF. For anything later than that you are selling low. Even if he is garbage when he plays next (and it's really possible he plays week 1 as the NFL let's his legal situation work itself out), you could still sell for more the minute he suits up. Worst case, you hold and he never amounts to anything, just like all the other late 2nds this year.

Most years I'd agree, but in this draft, round 1 and round 2 WR's, and day 2 RB's are going mid/late 2nd. Even Qb's are slipping to that point. I don't consider that selling low, you can reset for a guy with similar or better draft capital.
