Advice On 1.01 **UPDATED**

Postby blackfootbeltman » Mon May 28, 2012 5:45 pm

10 Team, Non-PPR, 6 points for all TD's,

Been offered a couple different offers for my 1.01. Not sure if these offers are acceptable, or if I should just use the pick.
And if I keep the pick, who to take?

Offer #1
1.01 for MJD and 1.06

Offer #2
1.01 for Gronk and 1.06

NEW OFFER #3
I give 1.01 + Vernon Davis + 2.01
I Get MJD and Gronk

My roster:

P Manning, Freeman, Sanchez
J Charles, Bradshaw, Spiller, Hunter, Gerhart, Moreno
Nicks, Harvin, T Smith, Manningham, V Brown, N Washington
V Davis, F Davis

Any advice is much appreciated!

Offer 1 is tempting. I don't like the idea of swapping a very young RB (Richardson) for a aging RB unless you think that you might be able to win the league next year and I don't think that you are quite there.

Do you have any idea how picks 1-5 would go down if you did make the trade? If Martin or one of the QB's would be there it might be a better deal.

Ha, I had the opposite reaction. I'd rather own Gronk than MJD.

I'd be all over Gronk as a throw in to move down 5 spots.

I agree on value alone the Gronk deal is where I would go, then getting Floyd or Wilson at 1.6 would be nice, but having Vernon and Fred Davis makes me want to pump the breaks on that one unless I can flip one of them for something?

You've got basically the same RBs as me and I have 1.01...TRich is 20 years old and if he can live up to the hype you might get your starting RB for next 8 years which to me is more important than a steller TE.

I would take deal #1, MJD is probaly worth just as much as Richardson so I would gladly take the 1.6, and your team would deff be a win now team with the addition of MJD

Yeah I've seen that too. I actually just looked at his Rotoworld profile today and I believe he turns 22 on July 10th.

The sad thing is that I was in the championship game in 2010, and then last year Manning and Charles went down along with my season. Spiller and Moreno have been disappointing so far.

I am leaning towards the MJD trade, and then I could also grab Floyd or Blackmon @ 1.06

I also forgot to add the starting requirements are 1 qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, 1 te

If you think you have a shot this year or next year then I could see the merit to the MJD deal.
