Which do you like better, now and long term?

Fred Davis vs Vernon Davis
16 team league, non-PPR standard scoring plus bonuses. $200 cap

True on the smokes, but Vernon's biggest problem might be that he is a good blocker. With all the targets the Niners are adding it seems like there is even more incentive to take advantage of his all-around talent rather than feature him as a pass catcher. Maybe Fred has higher upside with crash and burn potential?

Ok. I wanted to get an isolated comparison of the two. I know adding this makes it more of a "team advice" topic, but I have an offer of:

I give: Vernon ($3.5)

I get: Fred ($1.5), and TBMW ($2.5)

12 team league, same rules as sig league. Thoughts?

I agree. I like Vernon more than Fred but no way would I pass up getting both Fred and TBMW for Vernon
