Depends on your roster, scoring and size of your league, starting requirements, salary-cap or not. If you can provide this info you'll be more likely to get some meaningful responses. try including the scoring/size of your league and current roster in your signature to make things easier for yourself
QB: Luck (IND) - Manning (DEN)
RB: Gore (SF) - Foster (HOU) - Bell (PITT) - Miller (MIA)
WR: AJG (CIN) - Megatron (DET) - Maclin (KC) - Fitzgerald (ARI) - Stills (MIA) - Nicks (TEN)
TE: Bennett (CHI) - Ertz (PHI) - Pettigrew (DET)
K: Prater (DEN) - Tucker (BAL)
DL: Marks (JAC) - Poe (KC) - Casey (TEN)
LB: Foster (CHI) - Greenway (MIN) - Levy (DET)- Davis (CAR) - Mathis (IND) - Miller (DEN) - Young (PITT)
DB: Munnerlyn (MIN) - Harper (CAR)
ST: KC - ATL

Assuming your league fits the "normal" 10-12 teams, 1 QB, etc, etc. His value is probably in the early 1st round rookie pick. He's a young QB in an offense that is shifting towards the pass. Young stud on one side, vet stud on the other, and an old (yet still one of the best ever) TEs. He was top 7-10 in most leagues last year and should only get better. I doubt he will ever be top 3, but he could be in that 2nd tier of QBs for the next 7-10 years.

Like Eli, it's hard to find the right buyer who will see him as an upgrade over their current starter. The 2 rookie QBs will be valued higher, but once those are off the board a pick in the 1.7 to 1.9 range is about right.

I think I would much rather have Eli or Ryan over Luck or RG3 for the next 3 years. Why not take the guy that is already a solid QB1 with top 5 upside over the guy that MIGHT someday get to that level if everything goes right. I would agree that most people will have Luck and RG3 ranked higher. Doesn't mean that they should.

If you owned 1.02 as well, would you trade 1.05 and 1.12 for Matt Ryan and 1.09?

If I had need for a QB, definitely. 1.09 will still get you a very solid player while 1.12 is probably just below the drop off. So the drop from 1.05 to 1.09 is a lot smaller than Matt Ryan.

In a vacuum, I think that Ryan is on the cusp of being a QB1, but of course not there yet. He has a new OC, Julio/Roddy, and he's going to turn 27 in May. I think that his value will of course rise with his level of play, so I suppose he could be a "buy low", because if he explodes, it's going to cost you an arm and a leg to get him, instead of just an arm, or maybe a hand..... Or if you are looking to move him, then I would think hold onto him and see if he starts off hot, then try to move him with the expectation he will continue with QB1 numbers for the next several years. Well, that's my humble opinion anyways!

In standard ppr scoring Ryan finished 10th in '10 and 7th in '11. I would do that deal.
