Richardson for the 1.02?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Richardson for the 1.02?

Postby Konehead94 » Thu Jan 04, 2024 5:47 pm

12t SF Full PPR 2 TEP (1.5)

It’s still very early in the process, but would you move ARich for the 1.02? This would guarantee my pick at getting Caleb or Maye. I already have the 1.01, 1.04, and 1.11 so could leave the draft with Caleb, MHJ, nabers or Bowers, and possibly another qb at 11. My other qb right now is Kyler. Thanks for the input!
Qb: Dak, Tua, Deshaun Watson, Daniel Jones , heinecke

Rb: Saquon, Gibson, mostert, rojo, chase Edmonds,
Lynn Bowden, Michael Carter

Wr: Amari Cooper, Thielen, Keenan Allen, diontae Johnson, Robert woods, , Anthony Miller

TE: Fant, Herndon, Allie-Cox

Not sure I would. Richardson was really impressive in limited games this year IMO

I probably would do it. AR scares me with the injuries. I generally don't like the re-roll the dice approach (heck I'm still buying on London) but in this case I would.

Richardson could be a monster in fantasy but he also needs to change his style to stay healthy at the NFL level. It's an unknown if he can do that, but Richardson has just as much upside and potential as the other two QBs based on what we saw this year. Preference overall here.

I do think it's way too early to move an early 1st though either way. We see the fever ever year and let the value grow. It's a very long dynasty offseason...let it play out.

I would jump at the opportunity to trade ARich for the 1.02!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
However, I would not trade the 1.02 for ARich.

I am keeping Richardson. I think the injuries where a bit of a fluke. He has the right coach to bring him along. He is a top 10 dynasty qb at just about every site I know. I dont see how the 1.02 is more valuable than that.

RB: D. Harris, D. Montgomery, Kendre M.
WR: Chase, AJ Brown, Aiyuk, Bateman

This is kind of where I land as well. We've seen a lot of highly drafted QBs fail and the landing spot for some of those new QBs could be a problem... at least it carries some risk. On the other side, I really like the landing spot for Richardson and he has massive upside to produce fantasy points. You may just need to pay up for a Minshew in order to cover your investment but I think it's worth it to get the ARich upside.

Side note: Minshew is a UFA. My bet is he goes somewhere to compete for a job. He is probably one of the top-32 QBs out there. Deserves at least a shot.
