RB stashes or roster cloggers?

I currently have 8 RBs on my roster as we approach the trade deadline and playoffs. Are the following guys all legit stashes or are some roster cloggers I should look to move for picks?

Michael Carter
Jordan Mason
Sean Tucker
Zach Evans


Bonus question: thoughts on Tyler Scott. Is he worth holding into 2024?

Likely all roster cloggers but Carter is the most intriguing. I had hope for Tucker in an unknown depth chart this year, but he can't even get on the field.

Cloggers. I’d consider Dowdle (obviously), D’Ernast Johnson, J. Kelley, Spears, etc. to be real handcuffs. Maybe Jeff Wilson Jr. and will Spiller ever get a shot?

I'd hang onto Carter until I see AZ make some off season moves. He's behind Conner, who's been solid, but who is always injured.

I don't think Carter is an every down back, but maybe he can carve out a role and be useful in an emergency. I'm holding some of the same guys on my SF team and expect to cut all of them when I have to roster my rookie picks.

Yep we all face the decision of the next years roster cutdown day. Most or all of these below will be on the chopping block

i like carter and evans the most. idk why evans hasnt gotten a chance really but hes a rookie and they kept him on the roster all year. if they thought he was a bum he woulda been gone. could see a similar situation to kyren this year where he got no run year 1 but was a big part of the plan year 2. saw it happen with damien harris in new england as well. im not of the belief that royce freeman is their long term number 2.

my thoughts exactly. was he hurt early in the season? maybe even miss some camp? that explains why they bring in vets early but hold the rook later. even if i miss-remember about his health, they could like the kid but weren't confident to roll him out earlier til he had a better handle on things. couple that with the fact that i generally like how McVay develops and rolls out his RBs. he could be a great 1b/RB2 in the Rams backfield next year, or a game winning handcuff if the slight Kyren continues to miss starts throughout his career
