Difference between Higgins and Howell (1/4 ppc)

For team 1 in sig. In this league, QB's get .25 per pass completed, so QB's do have slightly more value than a standard league. 4 pts per TD, -1 per interception.

I am negotiating with an owner who has both Mahomes and Howell. Howell will be less expensive and is outscoring Mahomes by quite a bit in this format. He is interested in Higgins. What is the gap between the 2 in this format? I was think something around a late 1st/early 2nd.

I do have the depth to trade Higgins without harming my chance at the title this year (I have JJ/AJ Brown/Diggs) and currently having to roll out Geno Smith now that Watson is on IR. This is killing my total points and I have lost a few close matches I should have easily won.

He offered Howell and C Godwin for Higgins, which I turned down. He does have Spears but not sure if I can pry that away from him.

Thoughts on what the value difference is would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I would have no idea how to value QBs given the scoring and it seems like they would put up big numbers weekly. I think Godwin could move on and land possibly in a better spot for his skill set. If QBs are big producers, seems like the original offer of Howell + Godwin is a pretty good deal for you. Moving Higgins at this point is a gamble because he has shown well in the past and may end up getting a shot to be the WR1 somewhere in the near future.

To help with understanding the value of QBs a bit more, what is a pretty normal game scoring wise for a solid QB?

Admitting I may not fully understand the scoring, I would gladly trade Higgins for Howell+Godwin if I thought Howell put me back in range to win a title.

Godwin is practically a scoring equal of Higgins, so it's like getting your QB for free.

So in this league, Howell is currently 3rd in points amongst QB's. His last 5 weeks have been 41.73, 25.95, 31.93, 28.49, 25.30

In my other dynasty league with standard scoring, Howell is currently 22nd in points amongst QB's. His last 5 weeks in the standard league is 30.98, 17.70, 24.18, 17.74, 17.30.

So with how much he is passing, it makes a huge difference in this league.

Problem is, I am just really worried about Godwin. He's 27 and even if he is starting fresh on a new team next year I still have concerns.

Pretty solid bump for QBs in your look then. I still think the value is there based on the scoring, but I also still view Godwin as a solid flex option. If you think Higgins bounces back to a top 12-15 WR after a tough year, I get holding but this seems like a good deal to me. I can see Godwin and Higgins scoring similar moving forward for the next year or two, but obviously Higgins his the age factor.

Without fully understanding the scoring, and being a huge Higgins fan.

The offer of Howell and Godwin seems good return for higgins
