Brief League Details: Setup is to mimic NFL rules
- Unique league entering our 7th offseason - plan to continue as long as I am able
- Realistic salary cap - based of NFL cap number (~86% of NFL cap number); tag/tender values fluctuate based on the cap number.
- 32 teams/2 conferences/8 divisions - All positions QB, RB, WR, TE, DT, DE, LB, CB, S, PK, and PN.
- 140 normal dues/ Super pool for b2b champion/ 150 in super pool reload year (following b2b champ or 5th consecutive season)
- Single player copy - Concept is for it to be true 32 team MFL simulation like FF version of Madden franchise mode
- 53 man roster/unlimited IR/ 5 man taxi for QB/PK/PN
- 21 Starters: 10 IOP* and 11 IDP
- Contracts w/ signing bonus and guaranteed salary - Drafted rookies get pre-determined 4 year contract (RFA/5th yr option after 3rd year)
based on draft position; Veterans acquired via free market auction; Veteran contracts
can be structured (frontload/backload; some requiring prepayment)
- Balanced scoring - stars at each position are valued as such
- Annual Offseason activities/events: RFA, Rookie Draft/UDFA auction, Veteran Auction
- Many opportunities to acquire players and build roster - salary cap and contract structure keeps UFA auction player pool talent; contract decisions make interesting opportunities for trades and surprise cap casualties.
- In season Auction Waivers - perpetual auction for player acquisition rather than blind bid
- Playoff Centric Payout System: Playoff Seed each conference: 1st: 300, 2nd: 200, 3rd: 150, 4/5th: 100, 6/7th: 50; Playoff
wins $100 each.
- Payouts collected via LS; Communication via Slack
- Custom site CSS and add-on modules - Custom MFL experience
- League Prestige System assigns numerical value for each season to mimic player desire for successful organization: Season leaders get a
one time prize for that season; Career leaders get discount on UFA contracts while holding position.
- Playoff setup like new NFL format - SB playoff play for prize money. Two losers brackets; Mediocre Bowl Middle 5 Teams from each conf
play for 1.33/3.33 and Toilet Bowl Bottom 4 team play for 2.33/4.33
