Hall or Bijan?

Postby grandmabetty » Tue Jan 17, 2023 11:32 am

KTC currently has breece hall as their RB1. They also have hall ranked ahead of an early 2023 1st (bijan) but just barely. I'm curious do you think Bijan will become the concensus RB1 by the end of the offseason? Who do you prefer in dynasty?

I know it's early and much has yet to be determined but what else do we have to do right now

Bijan is already comfortably the dynasty RB1 for me.

FYI Breece Hall (6300) is actually valued lower than the 1.01 (6665) on KTC

fair enough but one guy has shown he can ball out in the NFL while the other hasnt played a down. Im not saying i disagree with the assessment stated above but it seems lazy to simply state the injury and move on

If Hall was healthy it'd be a closer argument. But he tore his ACL and we've seen that it takes 1 year plus to come back to full speed from it. So if you want to punt next year for Breece then by all means go for it, but most people are going to take the healthy horse to race.

Bijan is going to have better draft pedigree while not being any less talented or productive in college. He's also not injured.

Things in the RB landscape can change quickly, so if you have Breece you shouldn't be upset, but he's just not going to have more value right now than the shiny new toy in an RB class that could change the guard of the position.

Bijan for me…Hall would be very close without the ACL but would still prefer Bijan
QB: A. Rodgers, Herbert, Purdy, Levis
RB: ETN, Bijan, Gibbs, Mostert, Dobbins, R. White
WR: AJB, Diggs, ARSB, G. Wilson, Kirk, E. Moore, Mingo, Wicks
TE: Fant, Njoku, Chiggy, I. Smith, Musgrave

Yet, he is not injured yet. RBs get injured, so will Bijan.
But the position is scarce, so we will still go after the elite RBs, short shelf life and injury concern well understood.

Regarding the two RBs, does it really matter who is number 1? I'd be happy with either. I plan to put in a strong offer for Bijan, but will take Hall if the same offer can get him.

Bijan over Breece by a solid margin.

Correct, Bijan will have injuries one day, but today he does not. He's a brand new Lamborghini. So, the easy answer is him. He is the best combination of mileage relative to talent at the position.

I agree with you though. It really doesn't matter who RB1 is, because it changes every year and sometimes less. It's the most vulnerable position to shiny new toy syndrome.
