DJ Moore Value

For a 16 team IDP league. I was offered a late 1st (probably 1.16, as team is a beast) for Moore. I am not competing this year and am in a slight rebuild. That said I am leaning towards keeping Moore who is still relatively young and hope he bounces back next year. Curios to hear others thoughts.

people will likely be dumb and take some defenders late first so i bet that pick ends up being pretty attractive. im fine with it. i have no clue why he would wanna buy moore as the top team unless he just really likes him and thinks his value rebounds big time next year. seems odd

It’s not actually his pick, he got if from the best team during a trade. His actual team will probably be in the 1.09-1.13 range.

Agreed gotta hold. No WR in the last 5 years has been held hostage by a slew of TERRIBLE quarterbacks more than DJM. He’s still young, too.

I'll be the first one to tell you that the DJ Moore experience has never been an enjoyable one. He's one of those players you want when he's not on your team because he's young and somewhat productive. But when you get him you realize that 1,100 yards and only a few TDs doesn't actually help you compete.

But that said, I'd hold him given the format. Wait for him to have a good game or 2 before moving him in 2022. If that doesn't happen just hold until next year in a rebuild.

I'm taking the 1st unless DJM gets traded out of Carolina tomorrow.
Just tired of holding and hoping for DJM, eventually you gotta produce.
His career is half over now, and he is still stuck in Carolina hell, and just signed a 2nd contract.

I can't help him no more.
I got DJM in a 20 team league, and NO ONE is offering me a 23 1st for DJM.
He sits on my bench, I can't even play him in a 20 team league with 2 WR's and 2 Flex slots. smdh.

For 1.16, I'm selling and resetting. I was a big DJM supporter and I still think he's a good NFL receiver. But he's not a good fantasy asset. As some point, we have to stop trying to kick the ball if Lucy is holding it. DJM is what he is, and what DJM is isn't good enough for me.

In dynasty, I'm selling for a T16 pick while/if he still has value that high. If this season continues as it has started, it's doubtful DJM will have that sort of value in January 2023.

In redraft, if I can't trade him I'll probably end up cutting him if he doesn't start producing pronto. I can't run my teams on memories and hopes. Just the numbers, ma'am.

I am out on DJ Moore. Carolina is just too dumb to ever solve their qb situation. You can always buy him back in a year two at a lesser cost after another couple of meh to sucky years.
