What do I do for RB???

I’m trying to stay patient and let the season start to play out before making any moves I might regret. However, I don’t have an RB2 to start the season. RBs in my league take an overpay always. It doesn’t look like Dobbins is ready right now and my bench depth dart throws are getting cut left and right. Do I just piece it together for now and start one of my bench guys hat might not even get a point? Do I look for a trade? Are there certain guys I could target that are a bit cheaper? The closest I’ve gotten is Aaron Jones but it would need to be for one of my 23 1sts. I don’t want to do it but it’s starting to look like I don’t have a choice unless I want to start the season forfeiting an entire position. Thoughts?

Not anymore. Someone picked him up and is trying to trade him to me for prices I don’t want to pay. Same with the Mike Davis owner. I also don’t want to buy either of them then watch the other get the play time.

Yea, I say wait. Dobbins should still start in the v opener and either way there’s bound to be relevant FAs within the first 4 weeks. Don’t tinker tinker unnecessarily preseason. You’ll be fine. It’s a marathon.

Your RBs are hurting to start the season but Dobbins will come on in time and I think will give good production. I would not want to overpay or force a deal this early. Are there any RBs currently on the block? McKissic may be a very affordable option for a few weeks early. Without Robinson, he will get touches.

If you insist on not punting the position and rb's are always an overpay, maybe a 2023 2nd for Hunt, Montgomery, Carter, Sanders, Edmonds, Penny...? Something like that?

I'd probably work the waiver wire a bit longer, but you have the the picks to make a move. Roster looks solid, but if there are any super teams in the league, you need to decide if you really have the chance to win it all, or sit tight for next year

Waiver wire or cheapest back available in a guy like chase edmunds or zeek for me.

I got edmunds for 2x 3rds and zeek for a 1st with a 2nd back (I may have thrown some later picks on top of this)

Basically add it up 2-3 2nds

I wouldn't force it. Unless you sell all four 2023 1sts, I doubt you are a true contender. Even then, you gotta buy the right guys.

I'd just see what happens and go into 2023 knowing you have a ton of draft capital.

Most of the "cheap" options you all have mentioned are still pretty expensive. Guys like Montgomery are tough to even pry away and it would probably take a 1st. I am trying to work out a deal for Edmonds now as he might be a sneaky option to fill in for a bit and the owner does not seem too high on him. He has ETN and Penny starting and thinks they are both gods so I may be able to snag Edmonds. I guess I would do a 2nd for him out of desperation.

I wish. It’s the opposite of the kind you can take advantage of. He just told me it will take a 2023 1st to get Edmonds… I might have to quit this league
