Taylor for CMC

Team in signature below. I'm always looking to add depth. Would you trade Taylor and Hines for CMC and G. Wilson?... Or should I hold tight with the relatively "safe play" of JT?

I would hold Taylor. CMC is going to wrong way on value either way based on age. Hold the top RB in dynasty.

I’d hold J.Taylor. We don’t know if CMC can stay healthy and even though G.Wilson is a nice prospect, he still has to prove it.

I would hold JT just based on team build. If your window was open for the next 2 years i would have sided with the CMC side. In a 10 team league i am guessing youre not quite there yet

I think this is heavily in favor of CMC and Garret Wilson. CMC and JT over the next 3 years are likely neck and neck in fantasy points, with CMC having the higher ceiling (and floor, minus injury). Wilson is a blue chip himself.

I get most people are worried about CMCs injuries, but I think it’s severely overblown and shortsighted. People harp about injuries, but the truth is, nobody here is going to be able to accurately predict injuries. RB is a vicious position, and injuries are part of the game.

There is a clear age difference here, but if you’re remotely close to competing, I’d take CMC and his elite upside, and trade Garret Wilson for another win now piece.

I was just about to ask if you find certain injuries to hurt a players career much more than others. Genuine question. So for example you want nothing to do with Akers now but someone like Dobbins you’re good with after the proper recovery?

I was just about to ask if you find certain injuries to hurt a players career much more than others. Genuine question. So for example you want nothing to do with Akers now but someone like Dobbins you’re good with after the proper recovery?

I think Dobbins makes a recovery more so then Cam Akers. As far as I know, zero elite RB have ever bounced back to form after Achilles tears. There’s always a first, but I’m not interested in chasing anomalies.

Dobbins did some serious damage to his knee, not just ACL, but I’m hopeful.

The age gap is just over 2 years between the two. CMC with his injuries has obviously missed time and wear and tear the past two seasons. So has Carolina realized that they need to reduce his workload some?? At 18-20 touches he's still a top 3 rb easily and her's there for more productive years in the future. If you look at college stats / touches JT has more touches there compared to CMC. So is JT due to have a injury with how often rb's get banged up? That's what we can't predict.
So looking at your build and seeing all of the 2023 1st's I'd assume your roster is gutted and your rebuilding, but your team is pretty solid. I'd offer him picks and a young player and hold JT. Even 2 of the 1st's and a young wr, Moore, Aiyuk or Toney and see what he says.
