Isaiah Spiller

I drafted him with the 14th pick (2.02) a few months back but I'm a bit worried about him now with a lacklustre pre season and Kelley seems to be ahead of him as the RB2.

Should I try to shop him for a 2023 2nd to try and reclaim value, or stick with him and hope he takes over from Kelley and that he ends up being a good complement to Ekeler?

On another note, what's Antonio Gibson's worth in your eyes?

Spiller has all the tools to succeed in the NFL and he can block. Kelley we already know is not great. I see no reason to already be looking to move Spiller after two preseason games. Stash him.

Gibson may bring in a 1st from the right manager but it would have to be a big fan of Gibson's at this point.

If this is SF I'm selling Spiller for a 23 2nd pretty quickly. 1QB I'd hesitate but still make the deal. The 23 2nd is a much more stable asset and I'd be willing to bet will be worth more on draft day next year then Spiller will be. IMO

This is dynasty. Have some patience. Don't let outlier players create an unrealistic expectation for rookies. Look at the value of guys like AJ Dillon and Rhamondre Stevenson now. Hall had like 1 yard on 4 carries, do we look to move him already? Rookies require patience. Anybody looking to move him already didn't like him in the first place.

Obviously I agree with everyone not to give up yet... having said that, value is value. If you think you can get an early 2nd, I don't see why you wouldn't at least entertain the offer. I doubt someone will offer you that at the moment though.
