CMC or Davante

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

CMC or Davante

Postby HerbUrban » Wed Mar 16, 2022 11:06 am

Which player would you rather own over the next 2-3 years? I have Adams but I’m loaded at WR and was thinking of approaching the CMC owner who needs WR help. Are CMC’s health concerns enough to stay away?

Given the 16 team format, I could see value being on the CMC side but I think he is a bigger risk than Adams. Adams will likely produce for multiple years to come while CMC could go either way. I don't think CMC is done by any means but RBs tail off quicker than elite WR's. CMC looks like the better piece for your build as a contender but I think he is the higher risk.

Adams for me for the same reason Gator said… mainly injury. I would target a younger back in the same realm… like going after JT.

You’d need to add a significant piece to Adams to land JT in return, but it’s kind of a moot point since he already owns JT. It couldn’t hurt to check in with the Swift and Gibson owners before making the offer for CMC, but for a 2-3 year window with OP’s build, I think CMC is a solid return for Adams. I wouldn’t add much, if anything, on top though.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties
