Keeper for draft picks

Postby Team Canada » Fri Feb 18, 2011 6:39 pm

ok i just joined a keeper league and I have 3 guys that are 2nd round talent with 4 keepers. Ur allowed to trade ur keeper spots for picks and that is what im doing. if i was to keep someone it would be someone like bradshaw, fitzgerald or mike williams. currentley i can trade my keeper spot for a 3rd round pick. is that a good deal?

I'm not sure I understand the question. You can keep 4, but you only have 3 guys you'd like to keep? It would help to see your roster.

If I'm understanding correctly, you can only keep 3 instead of 4...and basically trade that 4th keeper to another team for one of their draft picks (and they in essence get to keep 5 guys)? I'd be interesting knowing what that 5th player is they'd be keeping...to see what sort of value you could try to get in return.

I have 2 12 team keeper leagues. its ppr and 25 return yards counts for 1 point. vyea essiently i will be trading a keep spot for a 3rd round draft pick

Leon Washington RB
Roddy White WR
Greg Jennings WR
Brandon Pettigrew TE,
Deion Branch WR
Eli Manning QB,
Ahmad Bradshaw RB
Steve Johnson WR

im planning to keep cj2k, roddy white and greg jennings. i dont know if bradshaw deserves to have a keeper spot and what kind of talent will be in 3rd round as this is my 1st keeper league

I would probably keep Bradshaw. What you have to figure is if he's in your top 72 players or not. 12 teams x 4 keepers each, then the first 2 rounds is another 24 players.

I wouldn't trade that keeper spot for any less than a 2nd round pick.

I'd probably keep Steve Johnson over Bradshaw anyway...
