Going after Peyton?

Postby GridIronFavre » Wed Oct 27, 2010 12:24 pm

Ten team league. Start QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, K, DEF. Scoring is 1 per 25 passing yds, 1 per 10 rush/rec yds, all TDs are 6, Non-PPR.

Right now my team is (starters in bold):
Orton, Henne
Turner, Foster, Bradshaw, Mathews, Stewart
Andre, Fitz, Colston, M Williams (TB), Branch
Z Miller, Gonzalez
Gostkowski
Pittsburgh

I will be able to pick up two more players shortly - although there is not too much on the waiver wire. I just sent Cutler, Welker, and Bowe to acquire Andre Johnson.

Right now I am considering sending Orton and Bradshaw for Peyton. Good move for me? It would be a nice upgrade at QB - won't leave me too thin at RB will it tho? I think it has a decent shot of being accepted because he is starting Hightower as his RB2 and already has Big Ben at QB too.
Start: 2 QB, 3 RB, 5 WR, 2 TE (All TDs=6, 1 per 10 rush/rec, 1 per 25 pass, NO PPR) 8 teams
QB: Rodgers, Vick, Cutler, Schaub, Luck
RB: Rice, CJ, McFadden, Richardson, Stewart, Ingram, Spiller, Vereen
WR: Green, Marshall, Roddy, Jennings, Roddy, Bowe, Maclin, Britt, A Brown, Williams (TB), Collie, Smith (STL)
TE: Graham, Finley, F Davis, Cook
Taxi Squad: Tebow, Crabtree, Jeffrey, Hill, Gordon

My guess is that he comes back w/ an offer of Ben instead, but if you can get Peyton I like the deal for you. I think you're ok at RB even w/ losing Bradshaw. Nice job.
