auction draft

this is either for a redraft or a keeper (i'm still not sure...LOL). but the main reason i'm posting is that we used an auction. we used espn, which totally sucked as I missed out of bidding for at least 30 players because the site kept locking up. for 14 teams, it surprised me how much was spent on the top players. in general, i thought we all ran out of money much sooner than I had expected.

In the few auctions I have done, I often find this is the case. It's almost better to let the other owners blow their money early on the top 20-25 players and then clean up in the 2nd tier of players. It's basically like not having a 1st or 2nd rd pick, but you get 5 or 6 3rd/4th rd pick type guys since everyone else has spent too much.

i'm not sure. i thought he was still bidding when i finally gave up. i'd lock up almost every player at about 4-5 secs left, so i couldnt counter bid and ended up overpaying for some players and missing out on some affordable ones that i wanted. i missed the 1st 9-10 players (aka, all the rb studs)

that had been my plan but the locking up caused me to miss alot of players and in a few cases, the +1 resulted in much higher bids than i wanted. the reason i got my nickname of guppy is because i refuse to rely on only 1 or 2 players and would rather have a full roster of above average players. i would sayy that team 5 is the only team with a top rb stud that really is balanced. the rest dont have much after their stud rb.
