Survivor Discussion: Week 13

Postby pokerface40 » Mon Nov 28, 2016 4:40 pm

On to the next one!

If you are lucky enough to still have the Patriots, they are the obvious choice hosting the Rams. I don't so:

I am going GB hosting HOU. Non-division home game, Rodgers vs. Osweiler, yes please.

Other games that I would look at if I didn't have GB:

NO hosting DET
DEN going to JAC

I don't have any of the teams you speak of, but I have a few that I like enough...will look into it later with more detail.

Games I like...

Oakland vs. Buffalo (Oakland got complacent last week, but not this week)
Dallas @ Minny (Minny stinks and I am finally buying into Dallas, so that means they will lose if I take them, so I will pass)
Baltimore vs. Miami (Baltimore is tough at home in cold weather and I think Tanny is running for his life all game)
Philly @ Cincy (If Philly waxes GB as I think they will, this pick could be in play as Cincy is so beat up)
Atlanta vs. KC (KC just played a physical 5 quarters on a short week and travel for an early game against an elite offense)
#1-12 Team .5 PPR TE Premium (20-max)

Winston, Wentz
Ingram, Jones, Dalvin Cook, Rawls, Smallwood, McGuire
Evans, Keenan, Parker, Corey Davis, Lockett, Ty Williams
Ertz
1.05/1.06/1.07

#2-12 Team .5 PPR (25-max)

Rivers, Wilson
Gurley, JStew, West, Duke, Breida, Smallwood, Joe Williams
Nuk, Alshon, Sanders, Doctson, Crowder, Carroo, Carlos Henderson
Ertz, Kittle

#3 14-team PPR (27-max) Year 2

Rodgers, Bortles
McCoy, Howard, Chubb, Crowell, Cohen, D. Martin, McGuire, Joe Williams, Breida, West, Aaron Jones
Cooks, Alshon, MBryant, Britt, Boyd, Wright, Carroo, Chad Williams
Kelce, Julius Thomas, Jesse James, Shaheen, D. Allen

#4 12-team PPR S-flex TE Prem

Wentz, Trubisky, Cutler
Kamara, Ajayi, Howard, Lacy, Mack, Elijah McGuire, Sproles, Turbin
Hopkins, Alshon, Parker, Stills, Britt, ArDarius, P Cooper, TWilliams
Brate, Green, D Allen, Higbee, Hodges, Anderson
1.02/1.10

Nice picks. I already used OAK, DAL, BAL, ATL(lost with them against SD, but we get 2 strikes)

Out of those I like OAK and DAL. Miami keeps finding ways to win games and KC is as resilient as they come.

Yeah I like GB and NO the most, possibly Den. It really depends on how GB plays tonight, because if they lose the team may just give up.

I'm currently with New Orleans. Other games considered are Den @ Jax, and Oak vs. Buff

I don't have NE, but one of the 3 survivors in my league does... also don't have GB. I like Dallas over Minn but used them as well.

I think I'm gonna go Denver @ Jacksonville here. I don't love it because Denver just played 5 quarters and going on the road, but I just don't see how Jacksonville can matchup with that defense.

Me too, although I tempted by Dallas.

It should be a get right game for the champs.

Starting to think about rolling with Dallas this week. I know it is on the road, but Minny is banged up and I don't think they will slow the Dallas offense. I have been slow to come around on Dallas, but nobody in the NFC can beat them running it like Zeke is currently.

Thoughts?

It is either them or I roll with Atlanta or Oakland as my best remaining options...

I like Dallas a lot this week, Mike Zimmer having eye surgery and probably won't coach, Stefan Diggs might miss another game too. Unfortunately I used them against the Browns like everyone else lol.

With Trevor Siemian nursing a sprained foot I'm going to be watching the injury report closely. Considering pivoting off Denver and using Green Bay at home vs Houston. Also considering Oakland if Sammy Watkins ends up out with the foot thing.

Already used HOU, CAR, MIA, CIN, PIT, BUF, NE, ATL, DAL, ARI, SEA, TEN.

Man...really want Dallas tonight, not sure how Zimmer plays into it. Do they struggle without him or rally behind him? I am going to be on an airplane for most of the game so maybe I just take them before I take off and then I can't doubt myself.

It is either Dallas or Atlanta for me this week I think.

If it's between those two I'd def go with DAL. Out of your other options listed above I'd feel better with OAK or BAL over ATL as well. Coinflip between DAL and OAK for me

I'm in a big money survivor pool, you get three strikes and I'm down to two. The wrinkle is, starting last week, you have to make 2 weekly choices. Out of the favored teams, the only ones I can't use are seahawks and pats. So far, I'm leaning Saints and Broncos, but I'm iffy on broncos. Any thoughts on the colts? Even though they're on the road, think they have a really good shot to pull out the win?

Wish I took Dallas. Think I'm stuck taking San Diego at home against TB

So early in the week I was thinking Denver for sure, but with news of Lynch starting, I'm not really sure anymore, after reading some of the responses in this thread, it looks like I'm down to OAK, ATL, or SD. What do you guys think out of those options?
