Am I close?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Am I close?

14-team, 2 division, non-ppr. Starts 1QB, 1RB, 2WR, 1Flex (RB/WR), 1TE, K, DST

QB: T.Romo, T.Jackson
RB: R.Grant, L.White, T.Hightower, D Ward, T.Jones, J.Davis, M.Goodson, A.Brown
WR: Marshall, Rice, Bowe, Crabtree, L.Robinson,
TE: Davis, Celek, J.Carlson,
K: Kaeding
DEF JETS

5th and 20th pick in 2010 rookie draft

I've been pleased with my off-season with the fantasy acquisition of Ryan Grant and the real-life Seattle acquisition of Lendale White. Loving my WRs. Gained Carlson through trade so I could use Davis/Celek as trade bait. 5th pick in the draft will be one of the big 4 RBs, QB1, or WR1. No QB2 depth, but hoping to trade or OFA my way to a decent bye-week replacement.

We are heading into off-season free agency (OFA). Auction-style and I do have some cap room too.

So what do you guys think...am I a contender or at least 1 player away?

And is that player Ronnie Brown of the dolphins???

QB: D.Watson, T.Bridgewater, C.Newton, AJ.McCarron, J.Hurts-R
RB: D.Henry, K.Drake, A.Dillon-R, D.Evans-R, R.Armstead, D.Lewis, F.Gore, B.Hill, D.Williams, D.Dallas-R,
WR: M.Evans, J.Smith-Schuster, C.Ridley, C.Kirk
TE: T.Kelce, C.Herndon
K: M.Gay, M.Prater
DEF Texans, Seahawks

14-team, 2 division, non-ppr with salary caps. Starts 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, K, DST
Pillage FIRST! THEN burn. Doing it the other way around is pointless.

Ronnie Brown is not a real upgrade to your #1 RB - I'd fly with Grant and White unless you can add a solid stud.

I agree #2 QB is your major weakness, and you might be able to use a draft pick and a TE in trade to solidify that.

Good luck!

No.
If you can't leave at least a 20% tip, you can't afford to eat out.

I would only try to get Brown if the other owner will sell him cheap.

there isn't much available at RB to choose from. I think I'm stuck between Brown and Thomas Jones. Would TJ be a better add?

I would try and use your depth at Tight End and Wide receiver to land a Running Back. Also a backup QB. But don't spend a lot for the backup, get him as a throw in. Someone like Orton, Cassell or M. Moore.
