That’s just really an uneducated comment.

Weak RB group as expected, but we're at least seeing some separation now.

+ Jonathan Brooks, Trey Benson, Jaylen Wright and Marshawn Lloyd seem like the best choices for Day 2 capital right now.
- Bucky Irving and Audric Estime probably lost some money today.
- Braelon Allen needs a decent 40 time at his pro day. Otherwise, disappointing numbers overall.

Well, he made a business decision to not run the 40 today, but is participating in everything else. It's not good for anticipating what his 40 time would be.

I'd been high on Allen for years, but he doesn't look like the freak he was rumored to be for years.

Well, he hit 20.1 mph in pads on a 96 yd TD run. Is that good enough?

He turned a 4.44s 40. Is this a slow track? I’m not a huge fan of Wright but he’s faster than that IMO.
4.38 on his 2nd try.

It's not awful. So, why not run today?

Usually with RBs, it's not a good sign especially when they're doing everything else.

More from another source:
Allen’s max speed was just 20.4 MPH in 2023, but it was 22.4 MPH in 2022, which doesn’t suggest he was faster last season. Still, a 1.49 ten-yard split, combined with his power-clean, is impressive, especially at 6-2, 245 pounds.

So again...why not run today lol

I think everyone knows why. Estime probably would've been better off making the same choice.

I’d don’t know - give him a call. Wouldn’t you rather know what his speed is in pads on a football field over in shorts and a tee on a track? I just don’t get some of you guys.

Players come to the combine to make money. If something has no value in doing that, they won't do it.

There's a real chance that whatever his time is, it would've sunk him. That's concerning, especially if it's in the range of Estime.

The hype with him is that he was potentially an athletic freak for his size and now that doesn't seem to be the exact case.

So, you have to hope he's Tee Higgins?
