For those still holding on to Marc Bulger!!!!

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

For those still holding on to Marc Bulger!!!!

Postby Shawn » Fri May 21, 2010 11:01 am

From Rotoworld-

A team source tells Yahoo Sports that the Cardinals haven't "been terribly impressed" with the minicamp work of Matt Leinart and Derek Anderson, and may consider signing free agent Marc Bulger.

The Cardinals reportedly believe that they could revive Bulger's career much as they did Kurt Warner's three years ago. If they signed Bulger, the Cards would presumably carry four quarterbacks on the Week 1 roster, including rookie John Skelton. Bulger could emerge as the favorite to start in camp.

Good times for those holding onto Bulger............... maybe

Good times for those who took Skelton in the 20th round of a startup draft!

I've been holding onto Bulger in a couple of leagues for that very reason.

I concluded he was done even if he got another job and cut him. I'll look rather silly now if he does a Warner... Good luck to him.

2006... wasn't that before concussions were invented?

My bad. This is a feel good thread. So I'll be honest, Arizona is probably the best case scenario for Bulger. I just think he'll be hearing footsteps for years to come.

If they go on to sign Bulger it will tell a lot as to the lack of confidence in DA and Leinart.
