Getting the 1.04

Team 2 below. It’s only a 8 team league but I have the chance to get the 1.04 and I already have the 1.01 and 1.02.

I give 2.01 and 2025 1st.
I get the 1.04.

I was going after C Williams and MHJ. If I accept this I could get another WR like Nabers or Odunze. Or I could get another QB.

I think with that team in a 8 team league you are not a contender? Did you earn the 1-01 if so I keeping that 25 1st as it could very early too.

If I'm reading the starting requirements correctly, you can't afford this lol. You need: 1 Starting QB, 2 RBs, 6 WRs, and 1 TE before you'd compete...

Grab CW and MHJr to fix two of those holes. Then just keep hammering WR (unless Bowers somehow falls to 9, 2.01).

This team did earn the 1.01. I took it over last year and am looking to make a jump this year. My 2025 1st may be a mid round pick.

Yes, and IMO you still need a QB (Cousins isn't bad, but not an elite asset in an 8 team league), and all 6 WR spots filled, I have zero faith in any of your WRs, but you should never be starting a WR in the Superflex spot... so you only need 6 (well 5 after you draft MHJr).

I love the optimism, and I don't know the other teams in your league, of course. On paper, realistically, I'm not seeing it even with Williams, MJH, and potentially 1.04. Heck, all three could be huge hits as picks and still not help anywhere near enough in 2024.

2.01 (the 9th pick) will get you a fantastic player, and I think your 2025 pick has a very strong chance of being at or near the top. Obviously, if I'm wrong, then I'm thrilled for you that you turned around the team so quickly! I just think the more realistic chance is that the pick in 2025 is early so I'd be holding onto it.
