Conditional trade for McCaffrey

The McCaffrey owner in my league wants to trade him for a deal that could possibly still allow him to be competitive this year, yet has his future in mind. I’ve offered the following:

McCaffrey for:

- Pitts
- Zamir White

CONDITION #1: if McCaffrey finishes 2024 regular season as a top 5 RB in half-PPR formats, I will pay an additional 2026 first. If he finishes 2024 regular season as RB10-RB6 in half PPR formats, I will pay an additional 2026 2nd.

Condition #2: If McCaffrey does not finish the 2024 reg. Season as a top 10 RB in half PPR AND Pitts finishes as a top 5 TE in full PPR scoring, I will have the option to buy back Pitts at the end of the 2024 season from in exchange for McCaffrey and my 2026 2nd.

He said he’s seriously considering it. But now I’m starting to second guess myself. Have I offered too much? Pitts is the focal point imo.

I’ve never won my league. This is my 11th year. I’m hungry and think McCaffrey would make me the frontrunner heading into the season.

Do you currently have access to your 2026 picks? Are conditional trades permitted?

Comdition 2 is a no go for me. It would mean that after this trade Pitts would be untradable.

If you don't have access to your 2026 picks then I don't think you can really offer them as a trade right now, and likewise if you do have access to them then you can't trade your first or second until after the season.

The best way is for the conditional trades to be posted and have the commish automatically reject all trades that are accepted involving those conditional pieces. Image having 5-8 trades involving conditional pieces.
