Is there any scenario where he is the QB2 in dynasty SF? I mean the Vikings is a pretty premium spot. I am at 1.04 and I'm 95% certain through conversations with the guy who has both 1.01 and 1.03 he is going Caleb and Nabors and the guy at 1.02 taking Marv. So I should have second choice at QB.

No doubt His stock is rising in NFL circles but in Dynasty I don’t see him cracking the top 3. Wouldn’t over think this too much and just take the best QB on the board.

If you really think McCarthy is the bomb, you could move back a couple of spots and still get him.

Big if, but IF the Vikings do trade up into the top 5 (and especially if it happens to be top 3)….I personally would have a hard time not putting whoever they draft as QB2 after Caleb.

Separate NFL good and Dynasty good. There is zero doubt landing in MInny will be good for whatever QB gets there but long term only. Daniels and Maye project to make immediate results in FF.

Looks fantastic with ball placement, improvisation, extending the play, presence. IMO

I don't see anyway that I would take McCarthy as QB2 off the board.
Obviously the Vikings are a premium landing spot, but best I could do is move McCarthy up to QB3 I think.

If he were to jump Maye and Daniels on April 25th to an attractive landing spot, sure. As of right now, it's all speculation and I don't see him making that kind of jump when the draft gets here. Happy to be wrong though.

1) Yes, but probably won’t

2) I could see some bump him in fantasy to #2 after CW as well, but I think in general most people will only be considering him for the QB3/4 line. Long story short I don’t think he’ll be the consensus QB2

Drake Maye is just far and away a better prospect. Too many warts on McCarthy's game. Not sure he can throw a 20 yard out. We'll see what the NFL thinks, but I am out.
