They're going to take Williams. Now, what they do AFTER that IDK. I personally think it's essential to get one of the top three WRs—Harrison, Nabers, Odunze—but I doubt they trade up to get any of them. If one falls, sure. But there is elite talent at DT/DE/LT that could fall to us at #9 that makes just as much sense. I'd love to get 24 2nd and 25 2nd for Fields, but I'd be okay witn 2nd, 4th, 6th or something. I do not think we get a first unless it's some weird move back up trade from #9.
D3:
QB—Allen RB—Kamara, Jacobs, Zamir, Edwards, Ford, Warren WR—Lamb, Olave, DJM, Puka, Jefferson, Tucker TE—Engram, Muth, Washington, Kraft PK—Prater DEF—BAL

D4:
QB—TLaw, JimmyG, Tannehill, AOC, Hall RB—Bijan, Kamara, Conner, BENSON, Gainwell, Gainwell, Foreman, ZMoss, Chandler, McLaughlin WR—Jefferson, Hill, Adams, Allen, POLK, CORLEY, COWING, Tillman, Woods TE—Kelce, Kmet, TJOHNSON, Conklin PK—Butker DEF—PIT

Superflex 1:
QB—Mahomes, Rodgers, Mayfield, RATTLER RB—Bijan, Kamara, Allgeier, Mostert, BRob, ESTIME WR—Chase, DJM, Devonta, MBrown, Lockett, Myers, COWING, MWASHINGTON TE—Kmet, Kraft, SANDERS, Conklin, Hurst PK—Elliott DEF—PHI

Superflex 2:
QB: MAYE, Goff, Cousins, PENIX RB: Bijan, BRob, Zamir, Allgeier, McLaughlin, Hull WR: HARRISON, DJM, Higgins, JSN, BTHOMAS, Downs, RMoore, Atwell, COWING, Reynolds TE: Ferguson, Kraft, Hurst, WILEY, Trautman, Tremble, Dissly, Reiman

I still don't see what team is a slam dunk to trade a single 2nd for Fields

I don't either, but it just takes one. If his value isn't even a 2nd (which is the price/value I'm hearing more often than not) do you not move him? IDK. We'll see what happens. Somebody has to have a crappy QB situation. Maybe it takes the draft falling a certain way before somebody like ATL or PIT or NEP steps up. Who knows.

Chicago has almost zero leverage on this besides just trying to unload Fields. He has 1 year left (plus an option year). So it's going to be like doing the supplemental draft of blind bidding on who can give up the lowest asset to gain the rights of Fields rental. My guess is someone shoots a 3rd out for fun and wins.

I’d rather use a Day 2 pick to kick the tires there than the #1 overall on Caleb and miss out on MHJr.

Well, we shall see…

If you ultimately were not planning on drafting Williams, Plan A would be to make everyone think you were.

I think people may want to pump the brakes on MHJR a little. I mean he’s really good, but… come on…

How many Super Bowls did Calvin Johnson, AJ Green, Julio Jones and Larry Fitzgerald win?

I get that he's one of the best WR prospects we've ever had but I'd absolutely pass on him for a QB prospect like Caleb Williams if my QB was Justin Fields

If Caleb Williams pans out, your franchise is likely going to be relevant for the next decade-plus.

If Marvin Harrison Jr pans out, there's no probability of what your franchise is going to be for the next decade-plus.

It's very common to see elite, all-time great WRs who've never won anything.

There is a wider net being cast by trading down. It isn’t just Harrison.

For starters, mobility and arm talent.

He's at least the best QB prospect we've had since Trevor Lawrence and is probably more talented.

He's much, much closer to Matthew Stafford as a 1.01 selection than David Carr.

Also, the list of QBs selected at the 1.01 is not nearly as bad as you're implying. Even the weaker 1.01's tend to carve out serviceable careers like Jared Goff, Carson Palmer, Eli Manning. Even a guy like Baker Mayfield would be the best QB CHI has ever had and he wasn't the near unanimous 1.01 the year he came out (like Bryce Young).

You have to go back quite a few years before you start seeing "real doozies" like Tim Couch, David Carr and Jamarcus Russel.

I cannot believe y’all have gotten this to 78 pages for a team that doesn’t win bleep. The Bears. C’mon, what in the hell have y’all been talking about?!

The best QB in their 100+ year history was Jay Cutler.

Go touch some grass.
