I am looking to acquire Laporta. The other team earned the 1.01, so he is still in rebuild but has been actively trying to acquire additional picks this year. I am not sold that Waddle will ever stay healthy. Great talent but it seemed like every time I started him he had a concussion this year, so since I have the depth I'm looking to move on if I can.

Non-PPR and start 2WR (with only 1 flex) -- I don't think that Waddle is a monster piece. I'd rather have LaPorta than Waddle straight-up on the chance that LaPorta is the next long-term elite TE.

Trading 1.03 for a projected early-mid 2025 1st is a downgrade, no doubt. But making that swap to get LaPorta and Warren isn't, IMO, too much of a loss if you want to add LaPorta in place of Waddle.

I think you're losing on the value now but the value upside is 100% in your favor if LaPorta really hits and/or the 2025 1st ends up higher than you think (or if Warren becomes a thing).

TL;DR -- I don't love the value for you but I think it's a fine price to pay if your goal is add LaPorta.
