Not sure I agree with that. He dropped it in a bucket...I don't think any of the defenders actually could have gotten it. I'm not sure it was a great decision to throw it but it was a *perfect* ball.

It didn't matter though. It was the right play. The pressure got through. He couldn't take the sack, on 4th down, and give KC better field position. He could have got a DPI, or, as it turns out, a catch. IF they intercept it (which would be dumb, but most defenders are on 4th down), it would work like a punt. It was heads up. Very impressive to understand the situation.

Only 1 of those guys even maybe had a shot at it. Momentum of 1 was carrying him the wrong direction and the ball went too high for the other 2 to have a shot at it. Guy who made the tackle maybe could have made a play on the ball but it would've been tough because Doubs was in a much better position to catch it since it dropped right on top of him.

It really was a perfect throw given the situation.

Don’t understand why anyone would complain about it. Reminds me of the pass he threw to Jayden Reed on the final drive vs the Steelers.

A lot of people called it lucky but when asked about it both him and Reed said in separate pressers that they saw that side of the field vacated and they trusted the other one saw it too.

That’s a great sign of a young offense growing together. Maybe a few years down the line we’ll be talking about the Love to Reed mind meld in a similar fashion to how people talked about Rodgers to Nelson

Nope. In time, in time. Going to be a good finish to this game, regardless.

I don't understand CC, saying the FG doesn't exist. There's over 6 minutes left. If you get a FG, you're up by 5. Even if KC goes down and scores, you're likely going to have a shot to get down on offense, and kick a FG to win/tie. Yes, the TD is always better, but going up by more than a FG, vs less than a FG, is better than nothing.
