Both physically talented WRs with maturity issues.StripesOfKC wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2023 9:15 amTbf Jeudy has missed 3 more games and Claypool was legitimately good as a rookieyinzername wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2023 9:02 am

We'll see if being trading for peanuts and having to earn his snaps will get Claypool's head out of his cheeks similar to what we saw out of Jared Goff and D'andre Swift so far.
Don't believe either of these guys are going to be real difference makers but gun to my head I'd say Claypool has the lower floor but higher ceiling.
Short of Jeudy getting traded to KC I'd expect their dynasty values to coalesce.
Quite surprised that anyone would prefer Jeudy to Hollywood at this point.
Both were similar prospects with similar strengths and weaknesses.. only Hollywood has proven to be better than Jeudy in every way at the pro level.

Just wait for a change of scenery for Jeudy...then sell.

2024 is loaded in 1QB? I only have him in one league but I’m gonna start trying to buy him if people are selling for 2nds

Re: Jerry Jeudy
Jeudy just seems like a borderline roster clogger. How many times has he been worth while in your starting lineup vs not? He's likely hurt you more than helped, if you rostered him over his NFL career to date. He's a ten cent head, and doesn't have what it takes to be a really good player, IMO. I tend not to target players like him.
Come next year's rookie draft, if the rest of his season looks similar to how it's gone, I am not sure a 2nd wouldn't be a more fungible asset that Jeudy to move around in the draft with, for instance. A pick can't get hurt, either. I am just not sure Jeudy presents much upside at this point. He's simply not that good. A great college player that didn't have the requisite mentality to develop at the next level into a success.

The injuries haven't helped his development, but he's also shown zero maturation. For all the accolades it's bizarre to have a guy just not show up in games. Another Bama product hyped by trophies.

I only own him in my league started 2 years ago, but he had a great ending to 2022 if I remember right.YouMightDieTryin wrote: ↑Sun Oct 15, 2023 7:14 amSummed up perfectly.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2023 6:51 pmJeudy just seems like a borderline roster clogger. In this thread, people were selling for a 3rd/4th. Here’s currently worth 2.09 in 1QB. Picks gain/lose value, but eventually its draft time and if you haven’t moved the pick, you must take someone, and I’d prefer him to anyone that’s gonna be available at 2.09+ in 1QB
Re: Jerry Jeudy
If you've held this long, you are obviously a believer and selling for a late 2nd would be giving up (sunk cost be damned). I have players I am like that with, but it's not Jeudy

Re: Jerry Jeudy
His claim to fame to date is pretty much one big game in ‘22 vs KC. I don’t see him as anything more than a replacement level WR in all but very deep leagues. Michael Wilson and Demario Douglas were as good on a ppg basis last season and they were rookies on bad Os. There sure wasn’t anyone burning 2nd rounders on them last year. Just another WR who made his bones in college surrounded by superior talent and going against the vastly overrated reputation of SEC Ds and now some just can’t get past the expended draft capital and concede that he’s just not more than an average NFL receiver.
Re: Jerry Jeudy
2020 NFL draft, round 1 WRs in order taken:
Henry Ruggs
Jerry Jeudy
Ceedee Lamb
Jalen Reagor
Justin Jefferson
Brandon Aiyuk
Crazy the discrepancy between the hits & misses for those 6 WRs who went in the 1st round.

Yeah, you just can’t accurately predict whose skill set will transfer successfully to the next level. The DBs are just so much better in skill, strength and recovery speed and the Ds so much more sophisticated in the NFL than what the guys see in college.

Re: Jerry Jeudy
^^^This is basically the answer.
I held Jeudy in a couple of leagues, but sold my last share on September 8, 2023, in what I considered to be a steal.
This trade was proposed to me, and I SMASHED it!!!
12 team SF PPR Full IDP, meaning start 10 offense and 10 IDP.
I give: Jeudy, Gainwell, Pitre (DB), and Troy Anderson (LB)
I get: Dak Prescott, and Jahan Dotson
I was weak at QB at that time, only having: Purdy, Aaron Rodgers, Minshew, Tannehill, and Trey Lance.
So Dak helped my team a TON!!
Got to the Finals, lost in week 17.
Probably don't make the Finals without Dak.
