One keeper league

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

One keeper league

Postby Openmountain » Sat Jul 29, 2023 5:27 am

Im in a league that you get to keep 1 player that was drafted 10th round or later or that you picked up from waiver wire during the season. I have 4 choices and the keeper would cost me a 10th round pick. I also can skip keeping anybody.
My 4 choices are:
James Cook
Isiah Pacheco
Treylon Burks
Justin Tucker

What are thoughts? Keep one? Which one? And why?
QB DeShaun Watson, CJ Stroud, Bryce Young, Will Levis
RB Saquon Barkley, Jonathan Taylor, Alexander Mattison, Roschon Johnson, Kendra Miller
WR Ja’Marr Chase, CeeDee Lamb, Chris Olave, JSN, Treylon Burks
TE George Kittle, Noah Fant, Dalton Schultz, Luke Schoonmaker

Hmm. He's my third choice behind the RBs. I see Pacheco as most likely to provide weekly flex use, Cook to have more upside than Pacheco and Burks to be tough to start in most formats.

Do you see Burks as high upside? Maybe D.Hop is washed?

(This is basically redraft)

It depends: How many years can you continue to keep them? If for multiple years, in what round?

If it's for one year only, then Pacheco pretty easily for me.
If you can keep for multiple years, then it becomes more interesting.

Burks is the best long term option by far for me. Pacheco short term, but I still prefer Burks.
