Team 2 in sig. I’d have to also give up a 2nd but it’s basically Saquon for Gibbs. I already have the 1.01. Team is ready to compete though.

Not sure I want to go through all the drama with Saquon so should I get out now?

that's up to you but i really don't have any belief that Saquan will pull a Lev'eon. the value is basically even however Gibbs hasnt played a down yet in the NFL. I guess i don't see the elite appeal of gibbs yet and would stick with the proven one.

I agree with Troll:
- I can see Saquon missing a game or two max. Leveon is a cautionary tale not a roadmap. Also it's worth considering that Barkley plays in a huge market where he can augment his on-field with a lot of local endorsements. I think his appeal is higher if he is playing.
- This trade is a smart attempt by the Gibbs owner to capitalize on temporary shifts in value: Gibbs hype is crazy high, Barkley feels risky
- I don't understand adding a 2nd to the Barkley side. Value feels even or in favor of Barkley
- You say you are win-now. My bet is Barkley outscores Gibbs in '23 and probably '24

Net/net: I'd pass unless you are highly risk averse and need to get out of sweating Barkley. Note: I'm an owner on a win-now team and I'm holding but find it kind of annoying!

One for one is a preference deal, but I would not add to either side and Barkley is the safer play as of now.

id pay that to have gibbs but i also took gibbs over barkley in a startup and want the youth new contract and high draft cap over the yearly worry of barkley situation. its a projection and sure barkley could get a great deal and be the better player but idk that gibbs is such a worse asset that it matters who you have between the 2 and surely have the thought that gibbs would be on your team longer and have 4 years before any concerns over situation. i just cant imagine gibbs goes 12 overall and has some meager role
