Bellinger value with Waller

I just finished a startup in a pretty deep league (team 2) with 12 teams, 2te with .5prem that starts 12 total. Is Bellinger someone I should be targeting as an old man Waller owner? I feel like he will inevitably miss 4-6 games with some kind of injury and my only other startable TE besides Muth and Waller is Everett.

Whats he worth in this format? Ive got two 2nds next year, he doesn't seem like a player worth a 2 but maybe he is in this league...

Tough to gauge his value in the short term. I like him as a stash for the right price but I would not overpay. Maybe a late 2nd on the stash?

Yeah I dont really know how to value him but I am slightly worried if i dont buy him now hell be a lot more expensive after Wallers knee, hammy, back etc gives out

I sold him for a 2nd in a start 2 TE last year, before Waller signed and I was very happy to get that return (I didn’t expect him to be a long term starter, he seems like JAG to me)

Now that he’s CLEARLY the backup, I’d not pay more than a 3rd at most. Honestly I don’t think it’s crazy to assume a 4th might get him.

I agree with this.

Also agree with others that I wouldn't pay more than a late 3rd. He was dropped in one of my leagues (albeit my shallowest roster league) and I picked him up for free. I think he showed the ability to play and is worth rostering long-term, so I don't look at him as a handcuff. That said, don't overpay for him

I liked what I saw from Bellinger before he got his eye poked out and think the he has TE1 potential. Nothing sexy just no nonsense and very workman like

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him overtake Waller sooner than later whether due to injury or performance
