I think reports are he has requested permission. Not that they have granted him permission. At least what I’ve seen so far. But agreed I wasn’t really expecting that.

Remember when the Chargers had a young Melvin Gordon they had recently spent a mid-first on and then signed this UDFA small school undersized Ekeler?
Who would have even given his level of success a chance? If you predicted anything close to this, you would have been ridiculed for so many reasons.
I know he was uber athletic but udfa is pretty much a practice squad signing.
Gives at least SOME hope for all those UDFA and long-shot players.

Part of the fun/challenge of fantasy football is adapting to the yearly change. Jimmy Go to LVR. Hopefully Rodgers to NYJ. Love installed in GB. CAR making big moves. Now Ekeler wants out of LAC. DJM to CHI. More to come. Fun to work through your rosters and figure out which ones helped/hurt.

I strongly disagree. He’s basically Derek Carr with less of an arm and higher injury risk. With the money they ate to let Carr go, I’m not even sure he’s cheaper.

 I meant from a physical Rico Suave double agent look. Fantasy and real life football wise he's a dam just trying to hold back the flood below.

Texans signed Keenum... which is weird. What about Mills? Are they gonna go Richardson and have Keenum start?

Wouldnt say it's that weird. Keenum is a great experienced backup/mentor and whoever they draft will need that.

Goodbye McGlinchey! He'd rather play for Sean Payton.

Don't worry Bears fans, I'm sure they'll give Orlando Brown that mega-extension he's been craving.

And hey... if they don't... just let the cap space roll over to 2024!

Look at these details. This is a really good contract. They can still draft a rookie to sit and learn, here, too. I was surprised how good this is for team building. Ziegler did a really good job, if this is accurate. They don't get hit nearly as hard if he's hurt.

Foodie. Well done steak goes in the trash.

Habaneros make the best tasting hot sauce. Throwing a bunch of random stuff on top of fries doesn't mean you call it "poutine".
