Value of Njoku?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Value of Njoku?

Postby burntfire » Thu Dec 22, 2022 1:22 pm

I have some league contenders after Njoku and am wondering what his value is right now?

The #1 team who really wants him has Pitts on the IR and doesn't have any serviceable TEs at the moment.

In a 14 team format, I would think an early 2nd at minimum. He has looked really solid this year with being the top TE option finally. I am not sure anyone would give a 1st but I would not move him low either.

Always the voice of reason Gator I appreciate it.

I was thinking a super late 1st or early 2nd but just wanted to make sure I wasn't crazy. I've held him for so long it's been nice to actually see him become what we all thought he could be.

It’s difficult to see many people trading more than an early 2nd for him, but I’d imagine the majority of those same owners wouldn’t sell for less than a late 1st if the script was flipped and they had him.

Early 2nd/+ for David Njoku or late 1st for David Njoku/+ sounds about right. He’s a hold or buy low for me

If I needed a TE, I would have paid a 2nd for Njoku earlier this season. The position is a wasteland and he's TE#7 in PPR and that's including missing multiple games. Solving for a weekly TE starter is very, very hard.
