These are the type of shenanigans I would instantly leave a league over.

I can’t imagine a legit commish with experience would process this trade.


That said, I only play in leagues where the Commish has to process trades to avoid these types of transactions.

You need to kill something like this. It’d be pretty easy for a pair of teams (one tanking, one contending) to pull this a few times to give a team a significant advantage all while making perfectly legal and balanced trades.
