My Offer For B Hall... Which Side?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

My Offer For B Hall... Which Side?

Postby Gatorguy7275 » Fri Sep 02, 2022 8:31 am

I have the 1.3, 2.1 & 2.4. I'll take Walker at 1.3. I've talked to the Mgr. with the 1.1 about Hall. I'm thinking of offering those 3 picks for him.
Qs:
(1) Which side do you prefer & why?
(2) Is Hall likely to have that much greater career/fantasy value than Walker to justify this offer?
(3) With my build, am I better off taking Walker & BPA @ 2.1 & 2.4?

Thanks & be safe out there!

I would start with the 1.3 and 2.1. I loved Walker until he went to Seattle and you do not know if Walker will be there. He gets taken at 1.02 in a lot of drafts.
Team 1: 16 Team
QB's: Fields, Wentz,
RB: D. Harris, D. Montgomery, Kendre M.
WR: Chase, AJ Brown, Aiyuk, Bateman
TE: Waller, J. Woods, Dulich, Mayer

Team 2: 12 Team SF 1ppr, Start 10
QB: Mahomes, Burrow, Watson
RB: Hall, Walker, Javonte, Pacheco, K Mitchell, Dobbins
WR: Godwin, JSN, Pittman, Pickens, Toney, DP Jones, S Moore
TE: Andrews, Fant, Likely
(2024) 1.03, 2.03, 3.03
(2025) Top 3 1st, my 1st

Team 3 SF, TEP, Start 11 ppr
QB: AR, Watson, Young, Levis
RB: ETN, Walker, Pierce, Akers, Pacheco, Herbert, Warren, Kelley
WR: G. Wilson, Higgins, Godwin, Kirk, Bateman, Collins, Doubs, Chark, Shaheed,
TE: Schultz, I Smith, Bellinger, Parham, Fant, Likely, Granson,

I’ll preface this with take your guy and trust your evaluation. If you believe in Breece and have him heads and shoulders above KWIII then make the trade. Personally, it’s not worth the 11 and 14 overall to make the swap even with the reduced value in a late draft.
1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex

QB - Fields, Howell, Levis, Rodgers
RB - Montgomery, Dillon, Achane, Ford, Foreman Spears, De. Johnson, Ch. Brown
WR - Di Johnson, Olave, DJM, JSN, Addison, Dell, E. Moore, R. Moore, Pierce, Osborne, Atwell, Reynolds
TE - Kincaid, Hudson

1.01, 1.09, 1.10

1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 4 Flex, SF

QB - Hurts, Fields, Howell, Bridgewater, Wentz, Hoyer
RB - Barkley, Mixon, Dillon, Spears, Foreman, CEH, Murray, Strong
WR - Jefferson, Higgins, Allen, R. Moore, Palmer, MVS, Patrick, Reynolds, Woods, Osborne, Campbell, Raymond
TE - Musgrave, I. Smith, Henry, Washington

2nd

1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 3 Flex, SF

QB - Carr, Garoppolo, Levis, Trubisky, Darnold, Trask, Wentz, Walker
RB - Robinson, Achane, R. Jones, CEH, Kelley, Mitchell, Mason
WR - Adams, Higgins, Wilson, DJM, Brown, Cooks, Boyd, MVS, R. Moore, Boutte

I would start with the 1.03 + 2.04 and see if that is enough. Hall is more valuable than Walker currently and although we have no idea how it will play out, I would make that move to jump up and grab Hall if you can based on price and value.

No response yet. I think I made a fair offer & we'll see.

Guy with 1.01 wanted my 1.02 and 1.04 to move up. No chance. Long term, there's a chance Walker could be the better asset. Not saying he will be, but some think he's that good. I too would start with just one of the 2nd's and go from there. However, you seem very certain 1.02 isn't taking Walker? Is that 100% for sure? Cuz if the guy with 1.01 wants needs RB, he may be very reluctant to risk moving the 1.01 unless he's high on Pierce?

I was told that the 1.2 is London. I have Walker if I keep the 1.3.
