I was told I don't know anything about research or numbers because he was overpaying for the pick and both players were worth way more then who was available (Still available included: Zamir White, Rachaard White, Tolbert, Pierce, Allgeier, Brian Robinson, Wandale Robinson, etc.) Not sure how any of these guys wouldn't be worth more then what he's offering and how he's "overpaying"

My: DJ Moore, 23 2nd(guy finished last in 2021)
His: 23 1st, 24 1st both his and he has finished 1st and 2nd the last two years. Top 3 roster

My: Godwin, 24 1st top 3 projected, two 23 2nds one high and one mid
His: Diggs, 24 2nd mid to late, and 25 2nd

Yeah, I agree. I probably wouldn’t take them but they aren’t terrible. He was probably throwing them out as a starter offer and wanted to start on the lower side hoping you’d counter.

Someone just offered me one 2023 1st round pick for Jonathan Taylor in a 20 team league.

I told him that JT was worth multiple 1sts, and he told me that he wouldn't do more than two 1sts because RB's have the lifespan of a housefly.

The first deal is essentially moving down a max of four draft spots and giving up one late 24 1st for DJ Moore.
The second deal is giving up the two most valuable 2nds by a considerable margin, an early 1st rounder, and Godwin for just Diggs.

Values seem way off.

Again - Unless you have preset draft pick orders you can't tell anything 2 years out. Injuries/Lucks(retirements)/flukes come into play and anything can happen. Are they great trades? Meh. For a rebuilding team they COULD be considered/tweaked, but by no means are they Bad.
