In the 5th round of a 12tm SuperFlex TEP draft
Don’t love how the draft has fallen to me so far after trading back a few times. I’ve got DK, Russ, Waller, DJM so far
Just trying to collect the most valuable assets at this point and I’ll make plenty of trades this off-season
Who should I take at 5.11 and 6.02
(‘22 rookie picks are draftable assets)
BPA:
‘22 rookie 1.02
(all rookie picks aside from 1.01 are available)
Rodgers
Z.Wilson
Mayfield
Zeke
A.Jones
Akers
Jacobs
Hopkins
Jeudy
Evans
Keenan
Fant
Goedert
I'm leaning a QB and a rookie pick. Thoughts?

Re: OTC: Wilson & rookie 1.02?
1.02 is probably my top choice. What is the TE Premium? If it's high like 2ppr, I'd consider Goedert as well. With only 12 teams, I'm keeping an eye on QB but it's not as urgent as in larger leagues. Zach Wilson is probably there too for me. So 1.02, Wilson and Goedert are my recommended choices (remove Goedert if TE premium is less than 1.5ppr).
I'm avoiding Hopkins and Keenan. Hopkins looks to be in a significant decline to me and Keenan is just up there in age. That coupled with the players you've taken thus far doesn't really feel cohesive. Stay young.

The TEP is small (0.5ppr) - which is why I feel dumb for taking Waller
I took 1.02 and then Jeudy and Marquis Brown went
I’m thinking Wilson but I’m tempted to just go 1.03
Re: OTC: Wilson & rookie 1.02?
With what we've seen from Wilson so far I'd rather reroll with the 1.3Prison_Mike wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 7:37 amAppreciate the feedback!Needalife wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 7:25 am 1.02 is probably my top choice. Re: OTC: Wilson & rookie 1.02?
I think 1.02 and 1.03 are the correct choices. Surprised they are there. When draft comes around I imagine you could easily get any player left on the board with either pick. You will have top 2 RBs or top RB and 2nd best QB. Seems like a slam dunk here.
TEAM 1 - 12 man SF. ppr, TEP 1.65 ppr
11 starters - QB, RB(2) WR(3) TE, SF, Flex(3)
Stroud, Kyler, Bryce Young, Anthony Richardson, Minshew, Trey Lance, Dalton l, Mike White
Breece, Achane, AJ Dillon, Justice Hill, Evan Hull, Chris Rodgriquez
Chase, Lamb, Waddle, Olave, London Drake, Demario Davis, Jake Bobo
Kyle Pitts, Mark Andrews, Kincaid, Schoonmaker
24 picks - 1x2, 3,4,5
Team 2-
12 man SF, .25ppc, .5ppr rbs, 1 ppr wr, 1.5 ppr TE
Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawerence, Jake Haehner, Jake Browning
JT, Kendre Miller,, K Ingram, Ty Chandler, Michael Carter, Kenny Macintosh, Sean Tucker
Puka, Rondale, Mooney, Wan’dale, Terrace Marshall, DPJ, Justyn Ross, Xavier Hutchinson,
Kyle Pitts, Luke Musgrave, Juwan Johnson, Darnell Washington, Jelani Woods, Elijah Higgins
24 - 1st x 3, 2nd x 2, 4th x 3 ,5

Re: OTC: Wilson & rookie 1.02?
I would go with an early 1st or Wilson here. With the draft so far, you have positioned yourself to maybe go for it in year one or trade Waller. Waller should have solid value in the league but if you come out of the draft and your team does not look very solid, I would trade him as he is approaching 30 and does not fit a non-contending roster.

Re: OTC: Wilson & rookie 1.02?
Yeah I plan to trade him. I took him over AJB because I got caught up on value vs. positional need and now I’m kicking myself. Oh well.Gator Sens wrote: ↑Fri Dec 10, 2021 8:39 am I would go with an early 1st or Wilson here. With the draft so far, you have positioned yourself to maybe go for it in year one or trade Waller. Gonna look to move Waller for a younger TE+
Re: OTC: Wilson & rookie 1.02?
Waller value has almost tanked now. Age plus injuries, not a good combo. AJB>Waller even in Premium league. but I understand getting caught up in TE premium aspect. just probably would have put that value on a younger TE like Freiermuth.

also, I am not as high on DKM as most. I probably would have taken AJB over him to begin with. but I may be alone on that island

Re: OTC: Wilson & rookie 1.02?
I agree, was a big whiff on my end. I got out of Waller later in the draft. Fant was available at 7.01 so I took him and then traded Waller + ‘23 2nd (should be late) for what ended up being Sutton + ‘22 1.08 + ‘23 1st
