Gotta say, Burks playing with one arm against Alabama and making plays is pretty impressive.

There are going to be a good batch of WEa coming out next year… Burks, Jameson Williams… Ross is likely a 2nd round rookie draft pick tells you the depth.

Re: Way Way Too Early 2022 Draft Thread
I acquired/held onto 2022 1sts where the league tilts WR heavy, or I have WR depth/age questions. Seems there's a rough consensus on the top 6 WR prospects. In alphabetical order-
David Bell
Treylon Burks
Drake London
Chris Olave
Jameson Williams
Garrett Wilson
How do you view these players? How would you rank them pre draft?

I like them all near equal. Add in three RBs I view equally and there’s a good strong top 9. The next tier is deep as well. Be in touch with updated ranks next month or so.

I'd move Wilson up over Williams and Olave. Otherwise, I think that looks pretty good.Pullo Vision wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 2:48 pm I acquired/held onto 2022 1sts where the league tilts WR heavy, or I have WR depth/age questions. Last year I saw a Supersized Deebo Samuel, this year he’s been catching a lot of go routes so looks almost Josh Gordon-ish

Man I feel so bad for Zay Flowers. Boston College literally threw for 19 yards on 11 attempts and this dude still had 2 interceptions! Worst throwing offense maybe all-time. Jurkovic is horrifying

That's been Ray Garvin's comp for him for quite a while.Nanananananana wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 3:55 pmLast year I saw a Supersized Deebo Samuel, this year he’s been catching a lot of go routes so looks almost Josh Gordon-ish

Foodie. Well done steak goes in the trash.
Habaneros make the best tasting hot sauce. Throwing a bunch of random stuff on top of fries doesn't mean you call it "poutine".

Re: Way Way Too Early 2022 Draft Thread
I think he has more YAC ability in the Deebo mold but just has that raw athleticism of Gordon and actually looks reminiscent of Gordon when he catches those deep balls. You could even throw some DK in there, DK/Gordon/Deebo is where i see him, which is crazy but he is not some polished finished product like Garrett Wilson is, so feels like there is some risk.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 8:29 pmThat's been Ray Garvin's comp for him for quite a while.Nanananananana wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 3:55 pmLast year I saw a Supersized Deebo Samuel, this year he’s been catching a lot of go routes so looks almost Josh Gordon-ish
He took a step forward this year, can’t argue that his ceiling is immense.

I think by the time we get to testing and combine, he will be there regardless. But I see your pointalewilliam789 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 27, 2021 8:36 pmRelax my guy. Re: Way Way Too Early 2022 Draft Thread
Does anyone have the best site for Route Tree breakdowns? I'm googling, but drawing a blank this morning. (Thanks in advance)
I'm enamored by Burks, but worry about his lack of routes.

Was a snip of an article I found so just trying to see more. It definitely puts a small red flag on him, but then again every team seems to want the next high-tech gadget player to use. Yet most teams don't know how to use them. He might be a case of having to go to the right team to actually make it work. When placed in the slot, his route tree was very basic and vanilla (36 of 68 targets consisted of slants, screens, or quick outs). There may be more branches on the route tree that he’s capable of, but it remains a mystery due to the basic concepts involved in the scheme.
