Aiyuk or 2.01?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Which side?

Aiyuk or 2.01?

Postby PR0v3 » Mon Nov 01, 2021 9:20 am

Got offered what should be the 2.01 (12 teams) for my Aiyuk.

I like Aiyuk the player but it seems like the odds of him becoming something after a season like this are slim.

What do you think?

WR: JJeff, Hollywood, Olave, Toney, Aiyuk, Jeudy, C. Davis, Boyd, C. Samuel,
TE: Njoku, Gesicki

Based on the weak class and substantial dip in value, I would easily hold Aiyuk here. He has the skill set and age to be a solid producer and is having a down year. Now is not the time to sell.

I don't think you will ever get this value back. I know I am in the minority, but Aiyuk is a gadget not being used in my opinion. I would take the pick.

Not a fan of the trade but if you do pursue it, I would definitely urge you to add a contingency on the pick. For example, if the pick ends up being say 2.03 or worse, he has to include another pick in 2023.

I think I'd hold Aiyuk, but it's not clear-cut. Aiyuk is likely a much better prospect than the 2.01 next year based on the projected 2022 class but his usage is absolutely maddening. If you want to move on, 2.01 is a very reasonable price based on what we're seeing this year. I'd probably hold but I wouldn't think twice if you made the move either.
