JUJU

Postby midgets86 » Thu Jan 07, 2021 3:25 am

I offered OBJ for Deebo Samuel and DJ Chark. He countered JUJU for OBJ. I countered Deebo, DJ, #22 for JUJU, he declined. he was willing to trade Henry Ruggs. wondering what to do??

Not really a huge fan of any of these guys but I like Chark and with a new QB in town, I have him pretty darn close to Juju

I don’t really like Deebo in FF, I don’t think you can ever feel comfortable playing him..

Depending on how you value Chark.. How about leaving Deebo out and doing Chark/pick 22?

If Beckham for JuJu straight up is still on the table, I would easily make that move. Nice value to get out from under Beckham.

I have both OBJ and JUJU, he wanted JUJU instead of OBJ. As of now, he isn't willing to trade picks.

Sorry, I was having a tough time following the trade progression. I would hold JuJu and see where he lands. I would be looking to get out of Beckham at the first good chance, but it does not sound like that will he in this deal.

I would dump Juju for that easily

I don't believe Juju is particularly good. I would take Chark straight up over him

If Juju suddenly finds himself as say New Englands new slot guy he is probably an instant WR1. If Someone tries to put him on the outside as their primary things get a lot more sketchy. That said I'd wait to see where he lands. I think you stay on moving OBJ for any kind of value. It just feels like the cliff is right there on him.

Why is New England a good situation? Let alone one that can elevate a mediocre/marginally above average talent/3rd best WR on his own team like Juju to WR1 status?

Bad QB, bad offense, no other big weapon to draw away coverage like Juju needs

It looks like an awful situation to me

Troy Brown, Danny Amendola, Wes Welker, Julian Edelman, Jakobi Meyers...

Yeah why would the NE patriots slot WR position ever mean anything in fantasy regardless of who the QB is? Because it always has been relevant. Because even without Brady these stand outs , Matt Cassel, Jimmy G, Jacobi Brissett, Cam Newton and Brian Hoyer all still Managed to make the NE slot WR relevant. Juju has already shown out better than ANY of the slot WR's the NE patriots made into fantasy darlings did before they were Patriots. So thinking he could walk into the Pats WR room as hot garbage as that offense was this year and put up numbers isn't a reach. That is assuming they don't improve which you think they kind have to.
