OK. I am not moving a prospect up because the Pats draft him. Have you seen their record of drafting WR's? I'm taking Lawrence/Fields over whoever the Pats draft, assuming that's the 1st and 2nd prospect.Orenthal Shames wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:34 amIt's dynasty. Talk about landing spot effecting draft value! Could vault the #4-5 qb prospect to the #2 easy

No problem. I'm no expert, but the articles I was reading made it sound like letting them heal was more common so I suppose that's good news. I don't have too much concern about Barkley working his way back either. He has almost a whole year and the guy is a true professional. I'm more concerned about him being stuck in that NYG offenseFantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:27 amAh, just let them heal on their own, then. Cool, thanks.Jigga94 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:20 amNo I didn't see anything about them operating besides the ACL. They initially said the meniscus and MCL wouldn't need surgeryFantasyFreak wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:03 am
Didn't they have to operate on the meniscus, too? I thought the swelling was due to the MCL. I know a partial tear you can heal without surgery, but wasn't sure what they chose.

Re: 2020 Injury Thread
I think there is always concern, no matter who it is, but you'd hope Barkley will be OK. I am concerned he won't be quite as explosive next year. It often takes guys a while to regain their form. We shall see, hoping for the best. Giants are a mess. Barkley's career could have been so much better, had he gone to a better organization. He'll almost certainly never hit his true ceiling, unfortunately.Jigga94 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:36 amNo problem. Re: 2020 Injury Thread
I agree on trusting NE if they get a good rookie QB and the current lack of weapons is a non-factor for dynasty value, BUT, I'm not elevating any QBs in this class above Lawrence or Fields regardless of how the situations all shake out. QB3 spot is up for grabs though, with Lance currently in that position with Zach Wilson hot on his heels and Mac Jones making a strong push himself.
Back on topic for the thread, pretty sure I saw Barkley had his meniscus repaired along with the ACL and they waited on the swelling to go down on the MCL because it didn't require surgery. Also there was a bit of an extra delay on the surgery because the surgeon who performed the operation is also the Dodgers team doctor and was quarantined in the MLB bubble for the World Series.

Re: 2020 Injury Thread
I got annoyed Kittle lost a TD to Dwelley. Found out Kittle got injured with 12 minutes left in the 4th and reportedly didn't return.
