If it were me, I would try to keep MT and target Ekeler with one of the lesser WRs on your roster.

Kamara, Cook, and CEH are going to cost a lot more, and Ekeler should fill your need and fits your win window.

Agree with the hold on MT as above. I think your first five WR's are your potential starters and then mostly backups. Your trade "opponent" could give up Ekeler with the stock that he has for something less than probably the #1 WR in the league. If you felt compelled to give up MT, I would either want a stronger RB in return plus a #1 or CEH. You're weakening your WR pool and strengthening his roster otherwise and giving him the better team.

You have leverage as MT is one of only a few players who can elevate his team. Here's what I'd offer and just gauge his response-

MT
Gesicki

For

CEH
Jeudy

He also needs help at TE and Gesicki is trending down with the news that Smythe will be starting over him. Gesicki is an athletic freak, however there's a reason why Usain Bolt isn't in the NFL

Okay. He’s come back with this:

Kamara and the better of his 2 2021 picks - my guess is one of them is top 5.

He wants it to be a conditional draft pick:

So I get the highest 2021 1st round pick if either are top 5.

Or I’d get his highest 1st and his 2nd round pick in 2022 if neither are top 5.

It still tears me apart to make his team better with MikeThomas. And this is a standard league. Not PPR. Also with Sutton getting an MRI yesterday after being helped off the field, I’m even more nervous.

What are your guys thoughts on this new offer?

In a vacuum I think it's a good offer. But overall I think his team will edge out yours as the top dog in the league after the deal.

I would hold firm on needing CEH and something else like Jeudy, as previously suggested. Assuming that doesn't work, I would still target Ekeler for something other than MT.

Let us know what happens. I'm intrigued.

Edit: Don't let me tell you what to do. If you like the Kamara deal, take it.

I’ll keep ya posted. I don’t love Kamara. In this league. I just don’t. Maybe approach the CEH angle here.

If you have your 2021 picks, why are you only working on one team? Go get someone from someone else's roster for either your 2021 1st or your 2021 2nd. You currently have 2 starters in Chubb and Hunt. I would go and get 2 players like a Gurley and Breida/Howard.

You don't want to deal MT to that team, or you will be handing them the ship. That team is better than yours to be honest, so I wouldn't be dealing with them unless you are getting the superior player (and weakening their team). I'd look elsewhere and try to move Chubb/Hunt together, and/or JuJu, Cooper, Watkins (after last night's big game) . . . for a big upgrade at RB. If you "must" deal with that team, I'd avoid Kamara and go after CEH or Mixon, hopefully with Jeudy if possible . . . but not with MT involved.

Yeah, I agree you don't have to deal with this guy. Sounds like he just wants MT because he knows he can afford it.

How about Ekeler for Watkins and Goedert. Watkins value is probably peaked again. Goedert is a stud tho.
