Perhaps. He looked good last night, especially that play that doesn't show up in the stats. About a 70 yard TD it would have been, if not for getting mauled. Nice double move.pvillebiker wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 8:18 am guess this slows the roll on the Jakobi break out train aye

Foodie. Well done steak goes in the trash.
Habaneros make the best tasting hot sauce. Throwing a bunch of random stuff on top of fries doesn't mean you call it "poutine".

Re: Mohamed Sanu traded to Patriots
When's the last time a WR had real fantasy value in NE other than Edelman for more than a 6 week stretch?
Re: Mohamed Sanu traded to Patriots
Forgot Cooks was there in 2017. But I guess the answer is, not many...I wouldn't hold my breath with Sanu and would sell high with this news if I owned him.
Re: Mohamed Sanu traded to Patriots
Also, this should be good news for Ridley and Hooper owners.

The Pats win, move to 7-0 and trade a second for Sanu. My Bungles meanwhile plan to hold onto AJG, despite rumors of getting a 1st in return.

Re: Mohamed Sanu traded to Patriots
Guess we'll find out soon enough if this move is aimed towards Gordon or Harry, my gut would tell me Gordon but who knows. Even odder is, Dorsett isn't playing terribly?
I'd say, all in all, good move for Atlanta...cash in on your chips while you can because they're a complete dumpster fire right now.

Re: Mohamed Sanu traded to Patriots
Fantastic fit, I love this for Sanu, but my GOSH - a 2nd rounder for a 30-year old role-playing WR??? That is amazing... I've never seen such an overpay.

Re: Mohamed Sanu traded to Patriots
Was this an attempt to bolster NE's WR depth or could it be seen as a defensive effort by the Pats. By trading for Sanu he doesn't go onto another contending team?
I don't honestly see that as the reason and perhaps Gordon/Harry are more hurt than initially suspected. And it's a very costly price to pay for something that cynical, but I've seen stranger things happen.

Re: Mohamed Sanu traded to Patriots
I'm praying they come to their senses and trade him somewhere he has a chance to be a part of a winner. One of my favorite players in the league, and his career has largely been ruined by being stuck in Cincinnati.Orenthal Shames wrote: ↑Tue Oct 22, 2019 9:24 am The Pats win, move to 7-0 and trade a second for Sanu. Re: Mohamed Sanu traded to Patriots
Bill Belichick LOVES him some Rutgers.
The Patriots were in on Sanu when he was a FA in 2016.
https://www.masslive.com/patriots/2017/ ... engla.html
Sanu followed the money to Atlanta and the next day NE signed Chris Hogan.

Re: Mohamed Sanu traded to Patriots
^^^^ Chris hogan is a perfect comp for him in the pats system. Sanu owners will get a few big games out of him as a pat but predicting those will be nearly impossible. Probably should sell him after one of those big games.
