Even if Kupp scooped up all 78 passing yards by Goof, you would probably have said the same thing..
So his situation went from perfect to terrible for a week. When it's perfect it's because of him and when it's terrible it had nothing to do with him?

Not a Kupp hater, I'm with everyone else saying he's in that 10-12 range for WR. Just making a statement of how bad this week was
It's hard to knock a WR that much when the whole offense imploded for a week, though.
Ya that's part of my point though. A lot of people love to hate Goff. If people expect Goff to continue to be this bad, well that is going to be very bad news for Kupp and his WR1 pace as well

Hasn't really hurt him prior to this week. One terrible game against a great defense sometimes happens.

What changed in his situation over the last week? Nothing.
The entire offence didn't do anything, nothing worked - that happens.

Kupp is amazing when the offense is rolling. Goffs fault when it's not. Just pointing out my observations here. My rank for Kupp or Goff hasn't changed. It's 1 week. We're in agreement

It's either Goff's or the o-lines fault if Goff can't get balls to open receivers. It's the receivers' fault if they can't get open or haul in catchable balls. I think yesterday's performance falls in the former category (both Goff and o-line). Now it's fair to wonder how much of a problem that is going forward, but that performance looks like an outlier to me (even if the Rams offense as a whole is way down from 1H 2018).

Kupp is still the #3 scoring WR in PPR.

In a week when the offense only had 78 passing yards, and one of the lowest scoring weeks of his career he still scored more than....

Keenan Allen
JuJu

Not to mention he still scored more this week than the following players worst weeks
Evans x 2 this year
Diggs x 2 this year
Golladay
Ridley
OBJ's
Among many other who people say are in the WR1 discussion.
2017 Champ, 2018 Runner-up, 2019 Champ, 2020 Champ, 2021 Runner-up
12 Team PPR
Stairway to Evans
QB: Hurts, Kirk, Bridgewater, Jimmy G
RB: CMC, Pollard, Foreman,
Sanders, Hill
WR: Kupp, Evans, Ridley, Dell, Josh Palmer, Hodgins, Osborn, Parker, MVS
TE: Kelce, Musgrave, Otton, Gray, Woods
DEF: Chicago Ravens
2024 2nd, 3rd, 4th

12 Team .5 PPR
Fields of Dreams
QB - Fields, Cousins, Wilson
RB - Taylor, Swift, Mixon, Pollard, Singelary, McLaughlin
WR - Olave, Tyreek, Tank Dell, Higgins, Gabriel Davis, E Moore, Mingo, Douglas
TE - Ferguson, Gray, Otton
DEF - 49ers, Pats
Picks 2024 2x1st, 3, 4

Yup, WR is a pretty dependant position and will have poor games at times when the QB is having a bad game or the defense is just dominating. Every WR is going to have games like this over the course of their career, and this changes nothing for Kupp. Still a top 10 WR.

I was one of the "detractors" if you will but I don't think his owners should be panicked as long as they took the realistic approach in that his production pace was not sustainable.

Think it may have been a little early to call him a WR1

Why? Literally every WR1 has stretches like this, WR is a relatively dependant position. He had 11 points today in PPR, which isn't what you are hoping for, but far from terrible.

He's still WR3 on the season. I also don't think an 11 point week is true bust territory for a WR...it's underwhelming, but it happens. He has 16.7 points through the last 2 games. Consensus WR1s with worse stretches this season:

Julio - 16.5 (weeks 4-5)
Keenan: 11.5 (weeks 5-6...also really any 2 week stretch since week 4)
Evans: 14.9 (weeks 1-2)
Odell: 9 (weeks 4-5)

JuJu shockingly hasn't had a worse 2 week stretch, but he did sandwich an 18.5 with a 4.5 and a 1.7.

I get that you don't think he's a WR1 and are seizing on a couple of slow weeks from Kupp to try to hammer that point home, but nobody who thinks he's a WR1 is panicking on the basis of two weeks.

This community is a bunch of posturing back and forth, based on reactions from a single game.

Thanks for the laugh gents.
