Picked him up for free October 2017. Traded him for a 2020 first in August.

The CFL and legal Canadian weed are calling!

"Because of (the Raiders), there's the no-clothesline rule, the no-hitting-out-of-bounds rule, the no-fumbling-forward-in-the-last-two-minutes rule, the no-throwing-helmets rule and the no-Stickum rule. So you see, we're not all bad." - Ted "The Mad Stork" Hendricks

Inevitable is about right. No one should be shocked, no excuses needed. Many argued the NFL policy but in reality it has been a mental health issue. Anyone who really understands the ravages of drug addiction realize it is a symptom of a larger problem.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 8:41 am His career will go down as "what if". After that amazing year, if he could have kept playing, the trajectory could have been vastly different. Such a shame. From a Dynasty perspective, I anybody who did not take the multiple chances to cash out, obviously should have. I continually said this on these boards, and I wish I had been wrong, but unfortunately, this seemed inevitable. From a life perspective, it's sad to see somebody continue to struggle with substance abuse and depression.
Gordon made his bed long ago and chose this life after multiple chances, far more than most in life have been afforded.
While we can hope he ultimately finds a peaceful life the odds are against it until Gordon himself realizes he needs to change and works the programs in place. Sadly he is one of millions in the USA alone.
As one who ejected this player years ago I have found it personally interesting how many continued to buy into his talent potential over his obvious issues. Don't think I would use the term fool for this group as hope springs eternal but it is interesting.
2013 was a lifetime ago in the NFL. In the 4 years combined since his one good year he has 271 yards less and 4 TD's less than 2013. This season he was on track to pass his rookie season totals so some level of physical talent remains.
He will never play another down of football in the NFL.

Oh, how many millions of dollars is that weed worth?
Just disappointing that he couldn't get it figured out. He could have been one of the greats.

I’m surprised no one has mentioned yet that owners had plenty of windows to sell

There's probably enough salt in the wound.
If you picked him up off waivers, no biggie...it was taking a flier. Otherwise...

One would be foolish or naive (both?) to think this is solely weed related.kris_kapsner wrote: ↑Thu Dec 20, 2018 10:38 am Oh, how many millions of dollars is that weed worth?

So now is the time to buy low...
If you were offering something for JG...what would it be? (I’m sure the answers here will be hilarious).
