1.02 trade back

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

1.02 trade back

Postby pats4892 » Mon May 07, 2018 12:20 pm

I have 1.02. Team with 1.05 wants to move up to 1.02. Would 1.05 + 2019 1st (probably mid) be a good ask for 1.02?

I think it’s worth a try. Seems like a lot of people value 1.02-1.06 pretty similarly, but if he came to you, he obviously doesn’t. I just recently acquired the 1.02 and would probably move to 1.06 for that. I actually even sent a text to the 1.06 owner asking if he’d want to move up, but haven’t heard back.

I’d have a hard time moving down for much less. I think there’s a gap between Guice and Chubb/Penny/Freeman. Not to the degree that he’s in a separate tier like Barkley, but there’s definitely a distinct gap nonetheless, imo.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

I think I keep the pick and draft Guice.

You're loaded at RB and I don't think Guice is worth the 1.02 in a PPR league. If you can get 1.05 and a 2019 1st for it, I'd do it in a heartbeat. Then take the the WR you like best, or even move back another pick or two.

Every league I have drafted in receiving a future first to move back from 1.02 to 1.05 isn't even part of the equation. People aren't even willing to give up a 2nd. If you can get a future first to move back 3, do it.

I'd only give that up to draft Marcus Davenport.

I value them all pretty similarly (1.02-1.06), so I'd ask for the 1st, be happy with a 2nd.

I’d ask for a first, and if rejected be happy with a 2nd & high end flyer type (think Ross, CoCo, etc).

I don’t really see a massive difference between 1.02 and 1.07, all the same tier to me.

I would be happy with a future first for that.

If you're not sold on Guice, then that's a solid offer.

Depends who you are considering targeting... personally I see 4 rbs in this class I really like (Barkley, Guice, Chubb, Rojo) but if you want WR then a move back to 5 may really net you no loss, so a free 1st is nice.

I think have him make you an offer first. But I think a 2019 1st for the swap is worth it
